At 1:10 I actually crashed on my motorcycle this way. I was not the wisest going at 80 km/h and a car rammed into me from a perpendicular road. I flew something like 20-30 meters, scorching my skin on the asphalt (hands, knees, elbows and belly), but miraculously i got no broken bones and the helmet protected my head.

8:10 Hate to correct you, Jim, but the gentleman recording is actually making a legal turn. Even if there's no turn lane, provided there isn't a median, you can make a left turn. The man recording had to wait for oncoming traffic to pass, which is the standard procedure. The driver behind him should've been watching the road.

You are probably right, but the center line was pretty odd. I know in the town I grew up in, the main street had a center line that was like a foot or two wide and completely solid, and legally you weren't allowed to cross it for any reason. A lot of vacationer's would get pulled over for it, but we were taught about it in drivers ed haha.

One of the reasons you see so many clips of people "randomly" slamming the brakes is because of a thing called _Crash for Cash_ . They purposely try to get you into a collision with them so they can make money, either by extorting you then and there, or through insurance claims and sue you for "injuries", with multiple people in on it claiming additional compensation for "whiplash" despite not even being in the car at the time. Dashcams are a huge advantage against this. Stay safe friends!

I'm definitely a C-Grade Driver and most of my exp went into emergency style driving for some reason (if something happens, I'm like a professional pulling over, but anything else I'm praying to God lmao), but these are just ridiculous. The guy with the trailer at 5:55 probably didn't intend to wobble. The weight on the trailer wasn't distributed correctly which made him lose control and crash on the side of the road. You can even see the driver trying to steer back when it degenerates

true!! there's even a gif demonstrating this very thing - if the weight is closer to the car, it doesn't have space to make the trailer swing back and forth. If it's at the back of the trailer, even the slightest wobble can cascade like that.

@@timothygooding9544 Braking when you start to lose control like that will make you spin out faster. Most of the time speeding up is how you handle a situation like that, speeding up rapidly will pull the trailer straight so you can slow down safely.

8:19 driver was completely in the right. A lot of places don't have a ton of dedicated left turn lanes. In those places, you and everyone behind you just have to stop in the lane and wait for you to be able to make your turn. Plus, there was a whole other lane on the right for people to go around which you don't always get lol.

Not gonna lie, when it was the clip with the biker at night, I clenched my butts super hard. And driving in the snow is easy, just have winter tires. If you don't have winter tires and live in an aera where it snows avery winter, you are a danger and a dumbass honestly x) Where I live it is mandatory since it's cold in winter AND it's a moutainous region.

Winter tires are great if you know how to drive for the conditions and plan ahead to compensate for the extra time required, but they won't make an idiot safe who's late for work or something. I recently got a motorcycle and let me say that literally, every driver should look at motorcycle safety videos. Since you can be hurt easily you are taught to be in constant situational awareness. And most importantly is to stay out of the way. Always take the safest path, even if it's a major inconvenience. Don't pass people unless you triple check your surroundings, only make a move or turn it you know what is behind you and to both sides of you. Don't rush out of interstates, always be ready to brake at intersections (intersection meaning any point two places cars drive intersect. Like driveways or blind corners). Stay extra far away from people, a rear-end is much worse for you than a car. There is literally no reason to drive anywhere close to someone, especially on highways. If all drivers drove like a safe motorcyclists then these stupid things will happen less. Motorcyclists have to assume a crash will be their last, so you drive in a way to avoid a crash. In a car, not paying attention gets you a dent, on a motorcycle it gets you broken bones. Drive like your life depends on it in a car, because it might one day. Just because you have more wiggle room to mess up doesn't mean it won't be your last mistake.
