You can also make paper using Bamboo which is basically a giant kind of grass. It grows super fast so it's infinitely renewable but only a few small companies are using it. I've seen toilet paper, lined school paper, printer paper, specialty paper, paper towels, tissues etc. You can even make clothing out of it that is amazingly soft. The waterproof mattress cover they made me buy when I got a warranty on my new mattress is made of bamboo. Flooring made out of it looks just like wood and is beautiful and very inexpensive. It amazes me that NONE of the large companies want to use it. NO MORE TREES FOR THAT STUFF IS NEEDED, but it does require a slightly different process so slightly different machinery...so they won't do it. Of course the major companies can afford to get the new machinery but they won't. Much rather deforest the planet than spend a bit of money changing how they make their products. Ah, human greed 😮‍💨

Opossum are essentially the chillest and most docile animal on earth next to the Capybara, but they're more likely to _look_ angry than actually do anything about it. They also rarely carry rabies and are extremely docile, meaning they're very, very unlikely to attack you when threatened. If you happen to see one in a dangerous area (like on the side of a busy road,) you can most definitely just kind of shoo it into a safer place. I'd never recommend picking up a wild animal unless you're experienced in it, but if worse comes to worst, Possums are one of the best species to handle.

y'alls reminder to NOT PICK UP POSSUMS BY THE TAIL. Their tails are NOT designed to hold their body weight and holding them by the tail risks pulling the vertebrae out of place! And don't come up to me with "But they can hang from trees with their tails" because no they can't, not as adults, not really. They can use the tip of their tail to kinda grip a branch to help them climb down but that's about it, they cannot just hang there with their full weight. As babies they can! But not as adults.
