6:23 I don't think that is how it works. The signal has to go from one antenna to the other antenna, not meet in the middle of nowhere and automatically double it's reach.

The witness list is a recent witness list they roll off after 5 days. He has hit 40 over the past 5 days but never more than 25 at a time. Also the reward scale...let's say yours is lower only affects those who witness your beacon not your witnessing of other beacons hence the great rewards still coming in. Hope this helps everyone. If I am not mistaken, the radio signals don't meet in the middle. One transmits a signal and the other one has to receive it to connect and visa versa. But yes they are probably using a higher dBi on each end.

If the ones below my hotspot and I have huge dbi antenna I can go higher than them and hit farther hotspots but then the ones below me hit me and I can’t hit them so I still get rewards from them hitting me without me hitting them? Thank you

Do rewards simply correlate with how many hotspots you are around? I am asking because i live in an area where i have ordered a few hotspots and i want to get more if it works but there is none around me so my hotspots will only be witnessing each-other is this okay? If i had 6 in 6 different adjacent hexagons and i owned them all am i going to get the same rewards as someone in a city? Because around me there is nothing so do they reward people in remote areas worse or is it simply about hexagon coverage?

Do you have a video that shows how to fix a relayed hotspot? If not that could be an idea for a video. And when replacing a stock antenna with a higher dbi antenna like a 5.8 or 8 dbi what would be the proper steps in replacing it safely without accidentally damaging the hotspot itself in the process, I could only find a single answer on Reddit that said to turn off your hotspot before replacing the antenna.

yes. or 4dbi depends on the range you can get with the surrounding area. if you use 8dbi as example, its only pushing out from your level, not having an umbrella effect to hit others above you.

Max witnesses is 25. You may have 44 showing but only currently max is 25. It shows one's you've had in the past. Best sweet spot is finding a spot that is 350 meters from other but within 2 km of as many as possible.
