I just met Charlie tonight in the restaurant I work in, he’s been at Liverpool Comic-con this weekend and came in after it was finished. He had pictures with all the staff and spoke to us for a while with his mum and partner, nothing was too much trouble for him. And I have to say, he’s one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Super polite and gracious. I’ve met a quite a few celebrities in my time and he’s definitely in the top 3 for being just a normal dude that enjoys chatting to his fans.

I don’t know why he’s so apologetic about the last interview, personally it was one of my faves of him. He’s always so relaxed and funny in his interviews, and tells great personal stories, like all his weird illnesses, the bug in his ear, confronting the burglar, Madonna, etc. And the fact he’s such a cat guy makes me love him all the more.

I love the Madonna story 🤣 I go back to it every few months. Especially after he now has a close working relationship with Guy Ritchie. I think it was on James Corden where it was revealed he spent time growing up playing chess online and revealed his player name is from a Wu song 🙌🏽 cemented his place in my heart after that 😂.

I was the only one of my siblings who made it to 16 without seeing the movie Green Street. In the end I only watched it because I was curious about seeing Charlie Hunham. Still one of my favourite movies to this day. He is such a good actor and having grown up on both the US and the UK he can play characters relatable to both cultures which I find incredible. Charlie Hunnam similar to say Bryan Cranston at his core is partly ingrained in a legendary seminal character, but there are so many other roles that could convert that essence into something else very entertaining and memorable. It’s too bad everything today is so much about money and marketability rather than simply creative license. Otherwise surely those two would have made some more really memorable roles. Hopefully this will be one of those.

As the story goes, Johnny Depp, riding high on his recent films being successful (late 90s - the 2000s) was to star in the film version, to be directed by Meera Nair. But his asking salary was close to or higher than the film's budget. So, it was shelved for another time, another ensemble...

India just makes you feel high, although I'm sure the malaria pills add to that. I got dysentery from a water dispenser in a waiting room I paid $ to wait in, only 15 minutes before I got on my flight home. It took me years to get rid of it. And that was after surviving being kidnapped in Kashmir (I kid not) then surviving a bus rollover during a mudslide on a highway outside of Mysore. India is crazy, but I must be a little too.
