WOW 40 years, I feel old because I remember when she got married! ( I was 21 then). LOL! Jamie was the IT girl of the late 70s and 80s. I loved her movies! We were at a Spinal Tap/Mighty Wind show in Columbus and Jamie was in the audience and so friendly and gracious to those around her (BTW, after the show, Harry Shearer was the only one of the troupe who stopped to sign autographs for fans who had been waiting in the cold for almost an hour).

It’s Amazing how some folks tend to leave out the REAL story when they’re talking about history. Lewis and Clark’s expedition was successful because they had a Native American -Sacagawea and an African-York with them. And Sacagawea and York were essential to their expedition - they were the reason the trip was a success. Jamie Curtis also left out the part where Lewis and Clark spread venereal diseases to Native Americans- who were also infected by previous contact with Europeans. Hopefully, one day…. History will be told correctly.

Excited about this show, though it is strange that it is being made by Americans in English when it is a francophone québécois story. The Québec film and tv industry is very robust, btw. The heavy set man on the right of the screen in the clip is Guillaume Cyr, a very prominent Québec actor. I haven't heard him speak English before, except for a few words here and there in the way the Québecois will throw in English expressions like "let's go" and "that's it" while speaking French. He was brilliant in "Lucy Grizzli Sophie," a compelling movie about internet harassment. I highly recommend it.
