The RB really is the "best of" in terms of the Top 3 straight 6's from the early 2000's. S54, RB, and 2JZ. The RB has ITB's and 8k revlimit just like the S54, and then also came Turbo'd from the factory and had high power / tuning capabilities, like the 2JZ. Such a rad Engine.

My personal pick would be a base model 2020 Duramax 3500 (or 2500 depending on ur needs) with the plastic bumpers in a gray color. Of course, spec it out with desirable options but then slap a 2-3 inch lift and some 12 wides. The black wheels with the plastic bumpers in gray give a great contrast and they come with "leather" interiors too and a decent infotainment system. Not bad for a 50K brand new one-ton truck.

I’m guessing you want a newer truck than you’re current Sierra, and I figure you want something relatively new, with a V8 and 4 doors, and reliable. I would suggest a 14-15 Silverado or a 14-18 Sierra. They both can come with either Duramax diesels, or 5.3 LS (these were the motors before they went to the fuel economy bs that’s been an issue with the newer trucks), and obviously they’re available with 4x4, and they’re relatively cheap, if you can find one that’s in good condition. Obviously this is just a suggestion, but these trucks are built to last, I would know that Gm vehicles are because I have a 02 Silverado that’s been running great forever now. Love from Texas Jimmy!

You should shop at Goeby's parts they have a heap of good RB25 parts and at a good price bit of shipping cost and time from Oz but well worth it. Super sweet the gear came off easy mine was a hassle also a Nitto crank collar and a fresh oil pump is worth it when doing anything like that.

Get a 4th gen cummins mega cab for all the room but look for the 14+ they got the good coil springs rear and better frames, better for towing, and plus the 14+ got the better interiors and you cant go wrong with a good ole cummins!

2500 cummins with a 6 speed. reliable, good on fuel, diesel is and usually stays cheaper than gas and out of the diesels cummins 100% gets better fuel mileage than chevy or ford. i was getting 24mpg in my cummins 22 with a trailer and 10k on it. no joke a cummins is a great investment. also they retain value pretty well

2021 Dodga ram, no questions asked, I sold them for 2 years and there is nothing else on the market that even comes close. Best in class interior, Best in class motor(What motor is out running the million mile cummins?) now you can get them with an aison transmission(One of if not the best transmission), they sold more heavy duty trucks than ford and chevy, its a no fucking brainer. Go test drive one and you'll understand. They havent been that great up until like 2019-2020 when the did the whole revamp now they are so far ahead of any other truck it would be dumb not to get one.
