the clip on the Decepticon is beautiful....i don't always think a Mokuti or Timascus clip compliment a custom knife ...but that clip elevates the beauty of what is already a special piece .....and i just love the Rockstead...reminds me of my Microtechs with the sub-frame lock and aluminum body

Jim man....I am so lucky i found your channel. just 2 days ago i was wondering what kind of edc knife to get and was kinda learning a bit about the knifes. but then i stumbled upon your kwaiken custom knife and after that RW monster knife, the one with the brown/gold damascus and ivory. which ignited me a remarkable feeling/thing... a passion was ignited! a love for knives which just became stronger with this video. i thank you for that! i really do. i will definitely check your IG as well. ofcourse as a complete novice it wouldnt be so smart to start out with custom knives with an elite privetag so.. i have a question: as a novice I would like to start with collecting edcs. but i currently want to invest not so much on it. sooo could you help me, with some recommendations. like I would really like to hear your top choices for edc under 100$ and under 200$ ( as I will upgrade in the near future). thank you soo much for the vids! its gets me hyped up to see that such futuristic knives exists! And one day...for sure I will be getting some customs one...definetely!!!! Sincerely Your new subscriber :-)

Yeah, I'd fuck those knives... although it sounds like a painful, dangerous, and confusing act. Only a Top 9 list, really, since the HALO was an honorable mention. Oh well. The Fischer is perfect, of course, and the Turpin/Baruscha collab (yes, 15:58 - yikes! I missed it, but going back it looks like it just a brush of the spine with a glancing blow against the clip... phew) is a personal favorite. I was a bit surprised the Custom Division Hati didn't make it, but damn... that's some tight competition. The Kirby Lambert, too. Amazing.

Welp, glad to know I'm not ever going to be a custom knife collector. All of these knives are butt ugly to me. lol I like utility and durability with good steel that can get sharp as fuck and stays sharp as fuck. These knives just look ostentatious and if I were to see someone pull this out to cut something in front of me, I would probably mistake it for a gaudy POS. lol Now that I talked enough shit, please don't misinterpret this as a judgement. This is my opinion and you keep doing you. If you are wondering however, my favorite knife is the first model flat grind Police by spyderco. Sleek, just big enough for my hands and retains a sharpness while still looking civilized so people don't lose their shit when they see a person with a knife. Thanks for the video. I liked it for the quality, detail and passion you put into it.

i saw your review of the halo five on the bladeops page in a thumbnail thingy, any way you mentioned no way to carry i bought a halo, and one for a close bud and they both came in short kydex sheaths that just covered the deploy button and the knife came away by thumbing the fold of the kydex thus releasing the grip of the sheath, the sheath could be attached to a tek-loc belt clip and be carried vertically or horizontal on your belt,or not attached to anything ,and suspended from a neck chain, btw marfione had a very small otf earlier before they restructured the company in the '80s i heard that the ever-ready battery co. ended up with the patent ,tmi?but they were very odd knives because the blade was fixed and the sheath retracted into the handle(what's that called "r.i.t.h.knife" ,go figure !! he must of been up all night on that!if you know of this knife since your knowledge and blade lore is fathomless and my info is all hearsay i'd sure like to see someone else who has seen these little pop-knives,sorry to go off topic, and being so windy, later bubba!!

Ok I own alot of knives, most cost me 100-200$ and I consider many of them very good knives. I also appreciate machining (im a cnc programmer/operator), but I'm having trouble seeing why these knives cost 1000$+. Yes they are high quality, the machining appears to be very nice, but for 1000$+ I could buy a higher end firearm with just as much if not much more machining done to it. Not only that but none of these appear to have seen much action. I dont know about you but I'm fine shooting something with a 3 thousand dollar gun, but not real keen on sending a 1k knife into bone, mud, sand? Guess these just don't seem practical to me, like wearing a rolex that craps out underwater or the first time it gets smacked on a rock...

Thats a Hand crafted piece of art work. Its not like he takes it camping and stabs it into dirt...A knife you can hold you can cut you can open and fondle some people collect stamps and what enjoyment do you get from that? You put them in a case and look at them but most of the time they just sit. I love when people say You bought a Knife for xxxx amount of money and you could have gone to walmart and get a gerber for 10 bucks.. A family friend collects art work and has one painting worth like 50,000 instant cash. So should I tell him go to walmart and get some Lithograph and save 49,980 and get a copy?
