THANK YOU! This was an excellent tutorial and I was able to fix this thanks to you! The only challenge was getting that housing off. Man that was tough. It did not come " right off" like in your video . Mine was like fighting with a crocodile. Next time I have to do this. Is there an easier way to pull off that housing? - Thanks again you probably saved me 100 bucks.

Great video! I was able to take that light assembly off with ease! Thank you! Quick question...have you ever had both break lights out at the same time, but still have the top middle break light working? I have that issue. I find it hard to believe both lights go out together, so I thought I'd ask. I took one of the lights off and it seemed fine, so I'm thinking maybe there is something else causing it. But, since the top middle break light works, I'm puzzled. Thoughts?

Your video is very well done. However, I need to see how to 5ake off the right rear brake light part in order to empty the water that's standing, and then reseal it. I can't get it passed for inspection until that's done. What do you suggest?

I know that you won't want to hear this but if the light is full of water.I would recommend replacing the light assembly.

Hi Jim- How easy is it to replace the tail light frame? I backed into a concrete pole yesterday and have broken the plastic! I see that I can buy a replacement frame online, but wonder if it's possible to DIY the repair??? Signed, a poor arts educator!

Hey Jim, really interesting stuff my man, quick question please, in my 2014 Kia Forte EX, the passenger side " Low-Beam ", isn't turning on, & it was just working fine yesterday, also, my driver side " Brake-Light ", is not working, as well. But, today, im honestly just focusing on the passenger side " Low-Beam ", not turning on, & im trying to figure out 1. Where the actual fuse for the low beam on the passenger side is, please, & also, what numbers are on the fuse, cause ive looked thru my entire drivers manual online, & their is nothing about that specific light, & where its location is, thanx. My high beams on both sides work fine, & my LED'S, on both sides work fine, as well. Also, the blinkers on both sides work too! So, its literally just the low beam, on the rite side, thanks a bunch, your very appreciated my friend, & im really hoping that I can please possibly get some feedback on this issue at hand..... 👍🙏😎

To be honest the bulb is most likely the problem. I would either replace the bulb or use a test light to check for power and ground.

I wish I had a burned light bulb on a 04 honda pilot. My driver side tail light is not turning on. I replace the brake bulbs and still nothing. Fuse are good and so is the relay.

chris parenti I've had mercs and BMW's but I've had a 2005 CRV from 2007 and it's got 99600.mls on the clock and I wouldn't swap it, and I moved from the UK last year to Spain and I paid 1000 pounds to swap L to R front lamps, New tyres and import tax rather than let it go.

SORRY TO SAY THIS, BUT HE IS... NOT... SUCH A GREAT MECHANIC ! HE INSTALLED THE BULB WITH HIS BARE HANDS ! ALWAYS CLEAN THE GLASS OF A BULB WITH SOMETHING LIKE ISOPROPYL/RUBBING ALCOHOL,.. THEN INSTALL THE BULB HOLDING THE GLASS PART WITH A CLEAN CLOTH OR PAPER TOWEL,.. NOT WITH BARE HANDS ! NATURAL BODY OIL COMING FROM THE HANDS WILL SHORTEN THE LIFE OF THE BULB BY CAUSING EXTRA HEAT !
