during this stream they mentioned lancer, and how the 1 flaw with it was that the Mech building was really complex and would Drain the souls of any potential players long before the game starts. and This is very true, HOWEVER, THEIR IS A SOLUTION, this website compcon.app/#/ is a online compendium for lancer, sorta like DND beyond. and it condenses the mech building, which would normally take 3 notebooks, several hours, and your sanity, into 20 minutes fiddling with drop down menu's and decking out your character with the right level up bonuses. Seriously, I recently got into lancer and this tool has gotten 4 players from "never even heard about the system properly" to "decently proficient and with totally ready for action characters" in just 1 day.
