I'm very proud to say I helped run the servers for this stream, and a massive thank you to Connorbrow, Dutchwar22 (server management and networking), and Random_Persson (custom plugins), as well as DRC Hosting for supplying the backup server at the start during the technical difficulties, without whom the server and the stream wouldn't have worked as smoothly as it did! Also, shout out to Kazvin for the custom models and textures used throughout the stream! Hopefully we'll see you for the Jingle Jam 2021 Minecraft stream!

Thank you for everything that you and your colleagues have done. It has to have been a really stressful time for everyone involved and having tried to do similar on a much smaller scale, I’m amazed it went so well. Thank you again. Best wishes Emma x

Omg, i’m the dev that built some of the stuff on that server, and seeing them interacting with it made my day! I usually build stuff on the server without thinking people will see it, BUT THEY DID AND IT MAKES ME SO HAPPY!!!

Man, that looks like so much fun, wish I could have catched this live and maybe even played on the server! Mad props to Mousie for trying to create order in all that chaos.

At the beginning of this video, I thought , oh man how cool to have people do work like this and then if they happened to die then someone new logs in to replace them. Now I'm thinking, ah jeez, these poor people have probably been fans for years, and this, their one chance to participate, end with a impulsive murder from one of the Yogscast. Sometimes fair, sometimes not so much. My day/night would be ruined if my time was cut short. Especially if I had been working hard just to get caught up in shenanigans.

@GretchenDawntreader3 жыл бұрын
Yogs have always sucked at one thing in Minecraft and that's adequately lighting an area. They are running around towards the end wondering how zombies are spawning and whosever's viewpoint we are seeing is looking right at half of one of the factory floors completely in darkness, wonder how monsters are spawning ;) Which I mean, it's a charity stream and death and destruction is fun, but you can really tell in the old minecraft vods that most of the time they were in peaceful mode otherwise they would have been just constantly dying because they'll have tunnels with a torch every 50 blocks or something and nothing is spawning :) Love you guys
@GretchenDawntreader3 жыл бұрын
and stop putting torches on walls. Monsters down spawn on walls. Torches cover the largest area when placed on the floor.

Not sure I wanna read the new Brandon Sanderson book, Ive only read the Mistborn series of him and I kinda enjoyed it, but the philosophy in it seems... borderline preachy, kinda shallow and mostly flawed to me. Not a complete dealbreaker as I liked it, but it is kinda central to the story so... meh. Unsure if I wanna give the author another go.

I read the first Stormlight archive book. It is just horrible..... It was the most overstretched book i have ever read. Half the size, and it would have been dangerously slow paced. And the worst thing is: for ALL the time, you know exactly where it goes. The only thing unpredictable is how fucking long it takes for anything to happen. Maybe the audio book is shortened? And i don't mind slow paced. Elric (dark, great), Hyperion (2 big books, rather Fantasy-ish SF, brilliant) , Long earth 5 very slow books, Mistborn. 6 books less tedious than 1 SA......all fine. Way of Kings.... my god. Harry Potter is simpler. And simpler written. But at least it gets to the point before page 500.
