I understand the Jiyan vs Xiao comparison, but this one just doesn't make sense. Both Jiyan and Xiao use polearm, hail from a chinese-based region, harness the wind, and are a general of said region. Jinhsi vs Ayaka have nothing similar in that regard. The only thing similar about the two of them is their hairstyle and color palette (which can be attributed to soo many characters). Hell, if you want to go that way, you should've compared her to ningguang instead. It'd make more sense that way.

Silly simplified monsters (especially in Sumeru and Fontaine), a companion to break down everything the characters have just said, easy/comprehensible puzzles, story is always black and white (except for like few moments and Fontaine) and there is never any bad ending, "bad" characters are never playable (if they are they get redeemed in the dumbest ways possible) so that kids won't sympathize with the so-called "bad guys" that would set a bad example for children, bright and colorful locations to attract childrens attention, easy combat that is, if you think about it, also puzzle-like (purple+red=boom!), etc. etc. You name it. Genshin is actually a kids game

What makes ww even better is that you can use your character entire kit because their autoattack is of that element. Not this genshin bs where every char auto atk is physical (which mean you deal negative dmg), so you end up just EQ and out. Even the story isn't that good tbh. There's basically 2 stories, the individual nation stories and the main story. When it comes to the nation stories some have been good some have been bad. The main story feels like an after thought they release so little information about your sibling and the celestial from the beginning that I don't even care about it anymore. Not to mention it kinda feels like they themselves aren't really sure what to do with that story they want to create this morally grey area where we see the Archons as bad for what happened 500 years ago but we only ever see the kid friendly make friends side of them. The lore is dark and mature but the story is light and kid friendly

I think the story experience for global (EN) players was hampered by the underwhelming English voice acting for some characters like yangyang or female rover (when she gets a chance to talk). Scar, Jiyan, Aalto, Sanhua, and Encore were great though. So it was a hit and miss. The current state of the EN dub is that it’s serviceable but not of a great quality. One of their localizers acknowledged this about the EN dub and said the tight schedule did not help. However, going forward, they’ll be working on refining it. For me, I play in JP dub cause I like my gacha games and anime in JP voice, so I didn’t run into those issues that people who played EN dub did. The JP dub is great (same case for CN and KR dub too), and they have plenty of big names there. The content of the story itself is decent for a 1.0 story. It was slow in Act 1 & 2 and had plenty of info dump, but it picked up with Scar’s appearance and the intrigue around Rover’s identity, and peaked in Act 5 & 6. If they can keep the momentum going and work on the pacing, they’ll be in a good spot story-wise. I’ve seen gachas with far worse 1.0 story (looking at you FGO and AK).

wuwa just warm up, PGR has tons of character waiting to get wuwa version. Changli burst animation superior than arlecchino 👀 problem with genshin is in story character look badass but when you pull the character genshin only give like 60% animation in story 🗿

Well, it would be better to tighten up the story and not crap every patch, otherwise it will be another PGR only with an open world and beautiful waifus. I love the open world, riddles, chests and that’s all, great soundtrack and a good plot, I generally don’t care about the combat, as long as it works as intended. In the game at this stage there is only a waifu, without a soul, so to speak, they haven’t really been revealed to us yet, there is an open world, which is good, but the whole essence of the game is built on sounds and all this theme, a bunch of terms related to sound, and not a single riddle or a thematic event, some bosses on a theme, a plot....um, let's just say, not very much yet, and that's to put it mildly) in short, just beautiful girls are not enough for a healthy life of the project. I hope for the best, because I'm interested.

Soundtrack music all that i lower my volume didnt care about that. All i care is combat, character design and animation. Just like you, you dont care about combat, i dont care about story. Every player has different preferences😁its just a game chill. Beautiful girls/healthy or not its just pixels

And this is already unhealthy garbage for the company itself.
