I think you missed the point of this video. This is *exactly the same music* you’ve reacted to back on May 5th. 😂 What’s different is the *vocal* performance. Tatiana is performing live, in one single take, with no interruption to correct any flaws. There are no effects added, just her voice in all its glory. People have doubted her abilities, saying it was all studio effects and digital alteration. All of that is stripped away here. As she sings in this performance: “This is what it is...”. You probably were somewhat impressed with her live performances in the past, but even those had delay, overlaid harmonies, etc. You may have wondered still “What does she *really* sound like?” BOOYAH!

Jon Noland To be fair, one of those was a LIVE performance. But the music in this one is the exact same music as in the “official” video. It doesn’t matter that he forgot having heard the music before. I forget *all the time* - I’m old. 😂. My point was that this video had an intended purpose, and that purpose was (unfortunately) totally overlooked in his reaction.

Fond Foat Watching someone enjoy this music (again) may well be *your* point. But I suspect that most viewers of reactions to *this particular* Tatiana Shmaylyuk performance expect the reaction to be about that performance - or at least to acknowledge the accomplishment in some way. But I’m just some insignificant Jinjer fan on KZbin. Your mileage will almost certainly vary, and I’ve beaten this dead horse more than adequately.

I'm a female thats the same age, been in bands& similar look to Tati(mexican living in Cali) & I Adore her BUT you can't say of all time without having people come for your neck. In metal....she's HANDS DOWN my fave out of the females right now. Previously its been Angela Gossow of Arch Enemy, & Otep(shout-out to Morgan Lander & Lacey Strum for killer screams). Now out of ALL the metal vocalists out there...it's Randy, Corey & Tati at the top for me of the most popular bands. & I'm talking people that can scream. Corey & Tati get extra points for having amazing clean vocals too.

Jinjer is the bomb Tati and the band are awesome people. Seen them twice here in Houston. Dont share your smokes with Roman, or you end up buying more at the store and coming back and sharing again. Not my main point. Just a illustration of my love for this band. I really wanted to address the thing no one ever seems to talk about. Thats Tati's lyrics. They are amazing. Im sorry but if the lyrics were crap, I feel the love wouldn't be quite as high. You hear them. Yet your stuck on Tati first then the band. All awesome. But the lyrics drive the song in my opinion

Fun reaction, Mike! The video is super distracting and IMO detracts from the music and Tati's lyrics and vocals. In this version you can focus on the music more. The musical composition on this song is possibly the best they've ever done. I posted a link to the original on FB when it came out and one of my friends who is whatever the MD equivalent of a physical therapist replied with a list of medical conditions starting with "cervical bone spurs" hahaha it still cracks me up.
