You have an obvious knowledge of music, which helps in the appreciation of Jinjer, nice! I don’t care for a lot of metal, just a lot of thrashing about with no purpose, but these guys are special. The musicianship and composition is out of this world!

YT seldom blocks, especially Jinjer. This is my favorite band and female singer.

You noticed that nice drum fill by Vlad. He's actually a classically trained pianist as well as an accomplished guitarist and drummer and, as it turns out, an accomplished composer as well (he has composed most of Jinjer's music since 2019). In fact, they recorded this studio session to showcase Vlad since he was new to the band at the time. He adds a lot of subtle jazzy style to the song that isn't present on the studio version, which was performed by his predecessor. As you can see, his live playing is phenomenally good. The majority of reactors don't seem to notice that the 3 verse sections of the song are quite different from each other, each with it's own unique variation on the guitar arpeggio, bassline, drum groove and vocal style. I know that you noticed because the bassline in the 3rd verse section was "tickling your brain". That's my favourite part as well, mostly for the vocal style and melody and that bassline. Since you're brand new to Jinjer, I recommend the video Audiotree | From Nothing. It's a brief, interesting and entertaining crash-course on Jinjer through the band's own words and live studio performances of 3 great tracks from their 2021 Wallflowers album ("Vortex", "Wallflower" and "Dead Hands Feel No Pain"). The live performances are *awesome,* and will give you a chance to see Tati pull off a variety of vocal styles live in studio. Their discussions give you a good sense of their history, relationships with each other and their attitudes about their art. It's around 23 minutes long, but well worth a reaction.

Seems fine to me in playback. If anyone else notices it's off, I'll look into it! Thanks!

I read the comments while listening to the introduction, so I was concentrating on the volumes when the music video started. Both the video volume and DreamiesLonelyDreamer volume were pretty much perfect tbh Edit - I am using a noise cancelling headset
