You have just met the queen of metal Tatiana Shmailyuk flanked by her Kings Eugene(bass), Roman(guitar) and Vlad(drums). Every member of Jinjer are legit badasses. Tati uses her false cords to achieve her grows. Jinjer perennial live at wacken really shows up Tati's ability to switch from cleans to growls and back in an instant. Who is going to be the one official live has some of her lowest growls. If ya want to meet Tatiana's cat check out the one take live vocal performance of Judgment and Punishment and most importantly HAVE YHE LYRICS READY. Great reaction, the look of utter shock and awe is why we all keep watching reactions to Pisces.

She uses her vestibular folds, aka false cords. Kardavox Academy has a video on this song and going through the technique with some live examples, which imo is worth checking out. If you want to learn it, make sure that you do it right. If it hurts, you're doing it wrong and that can cause permanent damage to your actual vocal folds. It requires a lot of training and breath control though, so don't think you can pick this up as quick as fry screaming. I'll drop my usual recommendations if you want to check out more of them, but I'd go with Perennial live at Wacken next. Official video suggestions: Teacher, Teacher Perennial I Speak Astronomy Pit Of Consciousness Judgement & Punishment Cloud Factory Retrospection Sit Stay Roll Over Live suggestions: Perennial live at Wacken Who Is Gonna Be The One live On The Top live in Kiev Pit Of Consciousness live in Kiev Judgement & Punishment live in Melbourne Teacher, Teacher live in Melbourne Sit Stay Roll Over live in Melbourne

Glad you liked it.That is one of their tamer songs.Check out Who is gonna be the one live Napalm records for a daytime stage performance. The band is Jinjer and Tatiana is the best metal vocalist around in my opinion. They are Ukrainian and don’t have a bad song as you will see.Prepare to be assaulted by the Jinjer Army with requests. They have been around 10 years.Don’t forget me I’m full of surprises

Definitely check out more Jinjer! I'd suggest their entire discography (same as Spiritbox), but I'd say you should check out their songs "Perennial" (Live at Wacken 2019) + "Who is Gonna Be the One" (Official Live video) + "Cloud Factory" (Official Live video)!

Great reaction, Madison! Especially after saying how relaxing it was. So I (and other Jinjer fans) just wait for the shock to hit when lead singer Tatiana (they are a band from Ukraine) opens up. The song is Pisces (astrological sign) that has two fish swimming in opposite directions. Tatiana is a Pisces. She is singing about the two sides of a Pisces when she says "one being brings life, another runs for death." One is outgoing, the other is the introvert. Although you might never guess, Tatiana is a self-confessed introvert. Check out the lyrics. Interesting!

Fun reaction and great commentary. For something on the heavier side, Who Is Gonna Be The One official live is epic - and she goes lower. :D Perennial live at Wacken is something similar in hardness to this but on stage. Teacher Teacher, either live in Melbourne or official are both great for something in-between. A singer who does (or used to, hasn't in their more recent work) both fry screams and false cord growls is Lena from Infected Rain - I'd suggest Mold as a great song to hear her use both styles.

If i might add a song to the recommendations for Jinjer. My current favorite is "Retrospection" i would say the official video is better than the live. This is either a vocal fry or false chord distortion. The jury is out and ive heard compelling arguments for both. Tatiana has said she isn't sure which she uses as she is self taught though i lean towards fry based on the sound not being breathy

It's not easy to do what Tatianna dose with her voice cause I've been the leader and lead vocalist of my band and I can do similar things that she dose but it's a strain on the vocal cords, but ut can be done
She uses her false chords. Yes she really growls. Perennial live at Wacken shows her vocals well.
