Tati is a beast. She has AMAZING vocal control. She is changing between two vocal styles, ( not easy) AND jumping around and her voice doesn't shake or sound tired at all. THAT my friends is a trained voice. Good job Tati!!!

Funny thing with Tatiana is that her stage persona, the jumping and bouncing beast of a woman is a stark contrast to her personal very introverted and solitary self. Just like her many different vocals (really, you should do Teacher Teacher to see some next level mastery from Jinjer, the music is on point and she sings and fry screams and growls in such a variety of ways in a single song it's next level impressive.)

Loving the expression on Stan's face at the beginning. Hell both your expressions through the whole song. TBH, I prefer skepticism than blind acceptance - as long as folks follow up with their concert performances to see what they do for real. Frankly, I didn't shelve my skepticism until I watched a few bootlegs dating back to the days before they had a record label. But then I was a kid when Milli Vanilli were exposed so, I'm a bit cynical. Is the phrase "the voice" a reference to Dune? if so you aren't the first person to make the analogy, and it is apt - especially considering the protest song lyrics. :) As to time signatures, yeah they never stick with simple time signatures - check out Ape, I'm not a musician so I don't know what they are doing but I've seen it described as "never really chooses a time signature" haha. About the musical variety, check out Beggars Dance. It isn't a full-length song so I doubt you'll want to do a reaction to it, but it is worth listening to. It is the outro to their King of Everything album and just a fun little piece - half the lyrics are callbacks to the songs on the album using a line from each song.

Hi guys! Here is the information so that you better understand what kind of band this is and who Tatiana is. So (big bunch of text :D): Jinjer is from Ukraine. This is one of the fastest growing band in the world right now - more than 130 concerts with full halls and stadiums on all continents (except Antarctica) last year and incessant tours this year (a new World Tour to release a new album begins in the fall) . Despite the fact that they are all from Ukraine, none of the participants ever speak Ukrainian, because they are from the Russian-speaking region Donbass where almost the entire population is Russian (there is a civil war right now that is supported by Russia on the one hand , and with another USA - there are two songs about it "Sit Stay Roll over" and "When Two Empires Collide"). All songs are in English only, but there is only one in Russian ("Желаю значит получу" - "I Want It I'll Get it"). They are: Tatiana Shmailyuk - vocals Roman Ibramkhalilov - guitars Eugene Abdiukhanov - bass Vladislav Ulasevich - drums Tatiana is a big fan of Amy Winehouse - she even makes a one tatoo in honor of Amy (you can also hear the musical imitation of Amy Winehouse at the end of the song "Who Is Gonna Be the One" )... And she also likes to listen to classic rock, progressive and NU metal, hardcore and deathcore, hip-hop and rap, blues and soul... She is 32 years old now. She was born on March 15, 1987 in Gorlovka, Donbass, Ukraine . After school, she entered the Pedagogical University and received a specialty as a teacher of Russian language and literature. She never studied vocals (only one month when she was a child - she quit music school because she was bored there) and did not train in growling and screaming, she only has a unique natural talents and abilities. In 2009, her friends from the young band Jinjer (was founded in 2008) were asked to temporarily replace vocalist Max Fatullaev who had left for the US until they find a new vocalist. But Tatiana brought such energy to the band that she did not replace the old vocalist for a few times, but remained forever and became the real leader of this band and the author of 99% of all songs (lyrics) . She has a big bunch of talents: she writes poetry and is the author of 99% of the band's lyrics, she draws arts and creates tattoo sketches, she can make tattoos (all tattoos of other members of the band are her works), she sews well (look her homemade dresses in videos "I Speak Astronomy"-official video and "Captain Clock"-live at Ressurection Fest), she does all her jewelry and piercing accessories with her own hands (she generally loves to do all sorts of stuff with her own hands) and much more. So, greetings from Kiev, Ukraine! Be happy, stay hungry and ride the Metal! Peace!

Ok guys 1st off, you won't fry your vocal chords if you do vocal fry properly. Tati is able to go back and forth with her voice so seamlessly due to very good breath control and proper training. Not everyone can do this. And certainly not without lots, I mean lots of training. Her voice is her instrument. Just like the guys in the band, who are amazing in their own right, you can't just pick up an instrument and know how to play. She is a beautiful, talented singer. I kind of feel for the guys at times. She does take a lot of attention away from them if you are new to female vocalists of her nature. If you like them check out ARCH ENEMY. They've had two top knotch female singers. They tend to stay in vocal fry. But, in the band the BUTCHER BABIES There are two beautiful, women in that band with great voices. My son's loved the video for "Head Spin" and " Monsters Ball" when they first saw them.
