the band style changed a lot, it's incredible how much ... personally, my favourite album is Cloud Factory, all songs are, from my point of view, very high quality... King I think has your 2 best songs, but some others are at a lower level than the songs in Cloud. Anyway, awesome, waiting now for Macro and for the Resurrection Fest 2020, see you in Galicia (please: remember to mention the name, it was the oldest kingdom of Europe) ;)

I think a lot of the songs with Dimitri are underrated, mainly because they dont get as much publicity since they dont really play them live anymore. The duality of Roman and Dimitri playing off each other, especially with the tapping, made a very cool groove that is probably very difficult with only one guitar.

I'm in Clare, awesome you pulled through a nasty surgery, my house exploded two November's ago from a propane leak with me in the middle of the house, I survived but both legs from knees down had the skin burned all off as well as my right hand, medical shit is a bitch. I'm healed up now but it's amazing what the body can experience and survive, they cracked your chest, clipped on your life line and you're still fking here, epic!!!!!

For me the pandemic hit, I went into quarantine with the rest of my hometown of Kansas City on March 16th, 2020, thinking "Well this is going to suck"... a couple of days later I discovered Jinjer. Quarantine ended up being a blessing disguise. Edit: The one downside, they were scheduled to play in Lawrence, KS not 30 miles from KC during the quarantine, and it was of course cancelled. I will see them live at some point in the future!

It's weird cause about a year and a half ago I discovered them (through Pisces, surprise) but I didn't think much of them. I thought it was cool that she could pull of those insane vocals and the band seemed tight but I couldn't really get into the rest of their music. I started at cloud factory and for some reason the music couldn't click with me. I remember thinking there were just too many changes and syncopation going on, and how whenever something sounded cool or an awesome riff came on, it never lasted quite as long as I wanted it to. Their stuff was very much a bit too progressive and complex for my music taste at the time. So I kind of felt sad that they didn't live up to the expectations I had set on them (at this time they were pretty famous already), and I pretty much forgot about them. But just a few months ago when they dropped music videos for some of the tracks off Macro I was impressed by their sound on that album and loved basically every song on it (the second half of Pausing Death might be the best thing I've ever heard), so I went back to check their catalogue again. To my surprise I loved the vast majority of it. I enjoyed their music so much that they've easily become one of my favorite bands recently, maybe even top 5 atm. My musical taste apparently grew to coincide with Jinjer's sound even without listening to them, and it's weird cause I don't really listen to bands that sound similar to them at all. But now I really like their music and absolutely love the direction they've been taking with their last couple albums. I'm absolutely a Jinjer fan now and I can't wait to hear what direction they'll go in next.

Right! As a vocalist I try new techniques and tones from metal bands / vocalist I'm into so that I don't get stagnant. Started years ago with Phillip Anselmo and got heavier from there with guys like Randy Blythe and how he enunciates words. And now, this woman here!! They're all great musicians and her ability to go as heavy as she does adds an over the top element to it, especially also being the singer(clean vocals) she is. A current favorite for sure and will probably rank up there with my all-time fave Pantera as time goes on, just in a different way/era. Got to share the stage with Phil last year, would love that with this band this year on the same stage......but I'll be happy just to get to see them live in a few months!! \m/

"Scissors" Let's go! Steady your nerves now Enjoy this world that grows around May be it's nasty No reason to waste your time in those endless cries Your tears are reaching ground Like they are falling from the clouds Each time you cry you make me feel like I wanna die It's like Your tears are reaching ground Like they are falling from the clouds Each time you cry you make me feel like I wanna die It's like Listen, it's not the lesson, just want to ask you Do me a favor if you will Try not to mess with far-fetched depression Deeply distressed you say you feel Your tears are reaching ground Like they are falling from the clouds Each time you cry you make me feel like I wanna die It's like Your tears are reaching ground Like they are falling from the clouds Each time you cry you make me feel like I wanna die It's like Scissors inside of me, operating on my bleeding heart Darkness invading, your insanity is tearing me apart Scissors inside of me, operating on my bleeding heart Darkness invading, your insanity is tearing me apart Let's go! Treasure what's given Pieces build whole new life Tender and innocent butterfly wings Can cause the tornado sometimes Tears are reaching ground like they are falling from the clouds Scissors inside of me, operating on my bleeding heart Darkness invading, your insanity is tearing me apart Scissors inside of me, operating on my bleeding heart Darkness invading, your insanity is tearing me apart There's no other life There's no other life There's no other life without you anyway, don't say There's no other life

I just found you guys a couple days ago. I'm a single momma with 3 kids. Metal head to my core. After I get the little queen in bed (shes 3), I attempt to clean up but usually get too overwhelmed with the amount of madness all over the house. So I "decompress" by putting headphones on, cranking the hardest shit I can, and do mindless tasks aka laundry and dishes. Having just discovered you, I made a playlist to put on shuffle for tonight's "cleaning". Ummmmmmmmmmmmm....so what had happened was....this song came on while i was washing dishes and I raged so hard, the whole kitchen is covered in soapy water. And I'm cool with it 😂😂. The lyrics give my entire body chills. I dont know much about you guys yet but this song punched me in the gut. HARD. I immediately looked up the video and all I can say is THANK YOU! I needed this message from the universe. Thank you for being my messenger. ❤💪🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 \m/

Discovered Jinjer about a year ago because of a "top 10 female singers in metal" article and was blown away. I'm about to see them for the second time here in the United States. I saw their first show ever here in Fort Lauderdale because the Texas shows got canceled. Now in about a week I'm flying up to Wisconsin (where it's 40 instead of 80 here in Florida) to see them. Can't wait. Tati's voice is incredible and the band is so good and their music is unique. I don't like stuff that's too "progressive" but I find their music unique yet still catchy enough to grasp. Found this band in 2018. I'm a Canadian, was living in Toronto at the time, and had basically given up on my musical journey (had played for a number of years, but every band I was in imploded, usually for stupid egotistical reasons). I was chilling with one of my friends in Toronto watching KZbin, and Pisces came on. Blown away instantly! I watched just about every video they had up at the time, and that's when I discovered Scissors. I'd blare this at work on my shitty flip phone while the radio was playing pop music lol. I've slowly but surely been playing music again ever since. So thank you, Jinjer, for reigniting my creative spark

Went off n had lives and now we live about an hour apart 20 years later, some choice words have been reciprocated lately & I think we got something here folks. I don't know if you've ever been afraid to let someone be, that pair of scissors, I have. And idk how y'all interpreted this song but I'm taking an optomistic eye to mine.....I've had Scissors on repeat and I couldn't help myself but I had to send it to her. She's not familiar with Jinjer at all. She was blown away but also said she could feel Tatiana almost like she was crawling all over her body like some kind of demon....my heart melted and I don't want it back together how it is is just fine with me right now

One of the most visceral, kick-in-the-teeth metal performances I've seen/heard in a long time. The fast cuts, live recording style just gives it that much more oomph! Imo, Jinjer's "live" stuff is their best. The cleans serve as a welcome break after the relentless onslaught that is the first minute, and the second part of the chorus (cleans transitioning into growls accompanied by guitar tapping) just blows my mind! Furthermore, Tatiana has a nice dynamic range to her growls, which makes them so much more gripping. Awesome band! Also, extra praise for the vocals being relatively light on the foreign accent! ;)

Also I wouldn't really call it "most metal" because it has metalcorish sound to it. But yeah, props, we need more females in the scene. And not just vocalists.

Great song & 'live' video. I've seen Jinjer headlining on Tue Oct 8, 2019 @ the Opera House in Toronto, ON and on Apr 11, 2018 at the same venue opening up for Cradle of Filth and Jinjer are absolutely fucking awesome! They're the 'real deal' folks!

It is nice to see good bands grow together not only as a musical force but in each other. This band has been around for at least eight years. They are by no means a super popular band or anything (though they should be), but as a band they still stand together. A lot of good bands cannot say that. Good job guys and I cannot wait to see what the next few years brings for you!
