i thought home back took the longest to grow on me, but i finally realised how amazing this song is. the growlaugh at 2:13, the bass at 2:25, literally everything from 3:49 (but ESPECIALLY 4:34, my god), the references to ape... dude. it's too good

Alongside this video, Jinjer just announced on their Instagram that they will be releasing a video for each song from the Macro album. So hyped!

I love everything about this. The energy is so high, and the way they keep changing it up just keeps you on your toes throughout the entire song. Mind blowingly amazing. I'd love to see you check out some Scardust, you'll like their bass player Yanai :) Especially their song 'Addicted' has some great bass lines

Jinjer actually had a socially distanced tour in Germany the other week - still rocking! I can't get enough of Jinjer, they're something special! I can't remember... Have you reacted to Noah from this album yet? I love the bass and triplets in that one! EDIT- yes you have. Ha. Home Back, Captain Clock or Sit Stay Rollover next maybe?
@deadlyxballerina4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, gotta hit up Sit Stay Roll Over, Captain Clock, but also Bad Water! Home Back is excellent but I'd say wait until they make an accompanying video, it'll make for better youtube content and Josh could jump on that video trending when it comes out.

I'm enjoying you watching Jinjer so much, lol. But if you're looking for some other content, I think I recommended in previous comments Epica live at the Zenith performing Consign to Oblivion, and I think the new live Kamelot videos are super awesome and worth checking out, notably Phantom Divine and Sacrimony. Another one to check out is Apollo from Crystal Lake. The video is so beautiful and the song is extremely technical, right up your alley. It's got VERY STRONG Linkin Park vibes too, so totally your jam. ;)

IDK if this song really counts as a single, J&P and On the Top were the only ones released before the album, and this is the 6th music video they've released for this album, they said they are going to do a video for every song. That being said, great reaction, this video is so good, the 90's vibe really makes me feel nostalgic, I liked the bucket hat too!

I love this band, they have a high bar and they don´t drop from it but this song is dead last for me in their whole catalog. I just don´t feel it...I´ve listened to it a lot of times but I can´t connect. It´s still good to hear, the lyrics are great, the drumming in this is insane but for me it´s far, far, faaaaar from their best work. Good reaction, as always spot on commenting on some details. You mentioned a single, but they are doing 1 video for every song in the Macro album and this one is already video number 6 they release, so only two songs left without video. Keep reacting to them, they have much more and more importantly so much better. Peace.

It`s a a very difficult song to listen to. Had to hear it a couple of times. Saw them live plaving it three weeks ago as a da capo. That changed it and so did that video. You have to work on listening (as many of Jinjer songs!), but - it is worth it!! DEFINITELY!!! By the way, did you listen to "No Hoard of Value" or "Exposed as a Liar" ? Two older songs, but niiiice! Or "Just Another"? If you feel bad and had an even worse day, that song gets you up again and smiling. Badass type of... 😉

Read the lyrics.. The song will make more sense.. God and Satan' arguing about Humanity'..
@bernhardkulzer91254 жыл бұрын
@@colbywaldemar8949 NOOOO! It`s not about religion. Tatjana and Jinjer are not religious and they really, reaaally are no satanists. It`s more an extenion of "Ape". It`s humanity versus earth, that would mean nature. Personally I like the idea of authoritatian leaders versus the people. But I think that that is only more remote to Jinjers intentions.

@@bernhardkulzer9125 ..I know... I haven't seen or heard personally what the band says about this song... But I feel that Tatiana's Clever'.. And she's holding back.. She's Aware of Christian Faith'.. Hence Noah' and Teacher' Teacher',.. These lyrics' have way too many Biblical references to be ... Completely about Nature... Just sayin... No place where it's written that someone who doesn't practice Faith, can't wonder, or write about Faith'.. Hat's off' to the whole band!

@@colbywaldemar8949 You maybe right, I don`t know. What I do know is, that Tatjana is in the best way agnostic if not atheist. And yes, she is clever! There are so many hidden - things in her lyrics: One is in "No hoard of Value" the little pause in "endure", context: " Your unlike to end - ure" or in "On the Top": Red ribbon is the finish and the finish in the coffin" I looooove that!
