Fun reaction - subbed. Every Jinjer song is different. You just got dropped in the deep end haha - this is one of their heavier songs. They are extremely experienced in live performances doing 152 shows last year alone (this year, they are getting a vacation). I've seen them twice and they are always epic. They were forced to leave their homes in eastern Ukraine because the battle lines of the war there would have prevented them continuing their music careers, and since then they've practically lived on the road, performing wherever they can - first just to make ends meet, and then to build their fan base. I see a suggestion for Teacher Teacher official, which is kinda in the middle of their hardness range, and a bit newer song and one of their most popular. WIGBTO is the oldest song that they still perform in concert. Cheers!

Wow that’s so rough that they had to leave their homes and things it’s so sad :( but I’m so glad they’ve been able to keep going and find ways to keep making music! @@MeganSmithxo they credit having their bridges burned behind them with their success since they no longer had any choice but to give it everything they had. Hard experience though. They have a song called Retrospection on their newest album dedicated to their parents and families, while the video expands that idea to the found family of their band and fans - one of only two of their songs with some lyrics in their native Russian, the other being one called I Want It I'll Get It which is all Russian and also the only song that is all growls, which I take to have been about their decision to leave their homes. Tatiana is a 5 foot 3 inch dragon and the boys are monsters as well. They have gone through so many band members over the years. In an interview where they were asked what was the meaning behind their name the answer was "at this point no one really knows so". My personal definition of Jinjer is Jinjer = the greatest band you've never heard of.

Welcome to Jinjer! They dont have any bad songs. Teacher Teacher! is one of my favorites, but you can do no wrong. The great thing about this band is that they have so many live performances that are well produced and shot. Cant wait for the next one!

Now your gonna find out how supportive Jinjer fans are. Tatiana steals the show as she should being such a dynamic performer. But the band is world class. Roman, Eugene & Vlad are so tight and precise. They change time signatures without it feeling jerky, or just off. Perrennial Live at Wacken 2019 is a great video to react to. Teacher Teacher is great. Judgement (And Punishment) is really great. I Speak Asteonomy is a really great official video, as is Sit, Stay, Roll Over. I hope you enjoy listening to more of this great band. I look forward to listening to more of your reactions to all music.

@@MeganSmithxo Totally understand, Megan. But if you just talk in a regular voice, or an excited voice caused by what you're hearing, it will sound just fine for your viewers. It just takes getting use to. Also, thanks for having good quality and volume on your playbacks. Good to see someone react to this song first. I like watching their live videos first, though you might want to watch the official version of "Teacher, Teacher". "Perennial" (Live at Wacken Outdoors) gives a good sample of her clean vocal range. And they are always good for a musical surprise.

I really loved your reaction to Who Is Gonna Be The One . It's the first reaction of yours i've seen . It made me sign up on the spot . You have a true love for metal . I have to ask a personal question if it's ok . Are you by chance of Scottish descent ? I ask because according to my family Bible , during WW2 , my 5th or 6th cousin on my fathers side was Wallace Warfield Simpson. And way back another cousin was William Wallace . My fathers mothers maiden name was Mabel McNab . If you could tell me anything about them , I'd be grateful .

Megan, thanks for reacting to Jinjer. A exceptional band whom I've seen live. They're incredibly tight live. Let me recommend another band that's not Ukrainian, but from the same part of the world. The Hellcats are an all-female metal band from Slovenia (they sing in English). Try their song "Now Is My Time." It really shreds. You can find it at: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJ28c6esab1lndE . Would recommend really any song from Jinjer. None of them are bad, just different, so people will always have their own favorites. My favorite vid by them is Perennial live at Wacken. I just think it captures everything they're about in one shot. Since you're venturing into the metal scene, I would also recommend one of my guilty pleasures Alex Terrible(lead singer for Slaughter to Prevail). He does covers of popular songs on KZbin. My favorites of his covers are Billie Eilish's Bad Guy, Sia's Chandalier, Post Malone's Congratulations, and The Weekend's The Hills. Also some names you might want to check out-Butcher Babies(2 female vocalists), I Prevail, In this Moment(also female fronted),also check out my boy Alex's band Slaughter to Prevail-Demolisher(the lows always raise eyebrows followed by expletives)
