Jacob : this band has incredible groove/ rhythm and tightness together !Unique type of flow about it , I just hooked onto them this year and I love them , and I don’t necessarily subscribe to much Growl voice type music , but this band I can listen to over any of them other death metal arch enemy type bands and actually enjoy the music ✌️

The tone he's achieved certainly doesn't hurt, either. It's like Dick Lovgren (Meshuggah) meets Byron Stroud (SYL, Zimmer's Hole, Fear Factory). If you've never heard Stroud before, a good place to start would be "Cyberwaste" by Fear Factory. It's flat-out brutal.

Yeah, he's a good bass player. I've been learning some of their tunes recently and there's some that are deceptively difficult to play. Judgement and punishment is pretty easy and a good place to start. But I've been playing for like 25 years or something so. 😂

This whole band has been so inspirational from the first moment I started listening to them. Roman's riffs have been making my hands cramp trying to play them, Eugene is making me want to start playing bass, Vlad has me air-drumming with every song, and Tati has made my shitty voice go hoarse trying to growl like her :D Every single one of you is amazing! AstroFreak love the fact that you acknowledged Eugene (a bass player) if you really know the band as I’m sure you do , everyone knows subconsciously that it goes like this in the Brian as a musician for this band hearing Bass instrumental guitarist the root and emotion and the start of all drums is the emotion . From low to height and the vocals is the soul of the circled life as in the word that goes with every note to make a chord to the point that it makes tha basss line . The harmony that bakes the rhythm that makes the drum beat tempo and wave and heart of the center of it all

Jinjer riffs and time signatures can be tricky to wrap your head around--untill you wrap your fingers around them! It gives a whole new appreciation for the flow and feel of the song. The end of this song is a great example. Play that on bass and it puts you in a whole different head space.

Dude! Seriously, a true progressive band, super clever, and solid chops all the way around. It takes me a dozen listenings of every song just to take half of it in, and after that I'm still finding things that are just sweet in every track. Blows my mind how anyone thinks they can give a solid reaction to a Jinjer song after just one listening. But I do like that those channels help promote the band - they deserve it!!

Same! I’m happily using my CMD 121P on even the biggest stages. It’s really just a side fill monitor, most of my volume is coming from the in-ears anyway. I’m using my Tech 21 stomp box preamp, direct out to the board. Markbass is definitely plenty good for this type of tone. And gigs are so much easier without having to drag around those behemoth amps and cabs that used to kill my back.

Got my Warwick Corvette 5 tuned to AEADG and giving this song my first spin! Sick! If you’re thinking about picking up bass for the first time, Eugene might not be the best place to start, just sayin! I’ve been playing for 45 years and this shit ain’t easy! I feel like it might take me a few DAYS of hard practice to get this one. Man just that bass riff in the chorus is hard as hell! He does a lot of registers jumping, low to high on the neck, and back down low. Great challenge!

I just recently started listening to Jinjer. Eugenes bass playing is what drew me in. The whole band is tight as fuck. Tatiana is The Most Brutal/Clean Female Metal Singer On Planet Earth.
