The spread shot build dosent a need the third part of ammo up because it reaches max spread 3 shots at ammo up 2 so that one could run 7 attack jewels too😂

heffermax I usually do but the team I previously played with didn’t do much damage as a whole (because only one of them used mixed sets effectively and the other two were stubborn idiots) so sometimes I didn’t have too much choice if we stood a chance against whatever we tried to fight.

Im more of a tanky Heavy Gunner using the Dark Devourer and Xeno Y armor, I always run a Guard Level 5 with Shield up and Level 3 Artillery, the rest would always be Health Boost, Earplugs, etc. pretty much utility depending on who im fighting. The reason I dont have attack boost is because CLuster does already pretty high damage without it and I need to think about the team as well

(the trueshot jewel and Flawles jewel in this build is not 100% needed and the build works ~95% as well without them. Feel free to replace the KO jewels for whatever you want, I use vitality if solo. If you dont care about super fast hunts you can drop the Unscathed Charm for whatever you find most useful, there are a lot of options.) It is crazy fast solo times and still very good for coop as you can provide KO and if you take out the attack and shield jewel you can switch to a support build and slot in some sleep too. The low fire resistances not great but this kills most things before anything even matters. Drop the Unscathed Charm for guard, attack, KO, vitality, or your favorite support skill to make this a more team centrist build.

Probably because post glutton people stopped considering any other spread HBGs. Nergiluna came out post KT. Nergi HBG and Nergiluna HBG have the exact same ammo stats for spread, Nergiluna just has more Raw making it slightly better.

Am I missing something about their comment on the deviljho HBG? They said 2 recoil and 1 reload mod for bit more optimal sticky 3 but in the shop it shows you need 2 reload mods to change the deviljho from very slow to slow. Might have been a little error but it does change sticky 2 from very slow to slow.

i believe 2 recoil is better than 2 reload because otherwise you would be losing a ton of damage from the recovery animation every time you fire a sticky 3. you'll end up with less downtime by reducing recoil since every shot you take will result in that animation. also reloading can be sped up using the aerial attack so long as you have a ledge nearby.

@@ninjaale yeah, I know these things. Was just trying to get feedback if they might have gotten something wrong in their video. I still use the 2 recoil as standard on the devourer and the third one I sometimes prefer a shield for when I'm not using cluster. For example while reloading and seeing that a move is coming I won't be able to dodge I just stand still and hope the shield gets it instead of rolling and gering hit anyway.

What about the Gluttonous Fangcannon for craftable HBG? Doesn’t have Spread 3 but the recoil/reload is non existent, so you could fit all of the close range mods. It also has a lvl 1 slot on the weapon.

Glutton gold cannon is good for spread build. At least until you got taroth glutton. My priority to build HBG/LBG build is always: 3 free elem/ammo up 1 Razor sharp/spare shot (usualy 3 piece of any xenojiva) 3 weakness exploit This with afinity booster will deal 100% critical to weakspot. The rest deco, I use anything I have that can help.

For the first glutton build I’m just curious how big of a difference the maximum might charm makes. The build didn’t feel that great to me because everything was one shotting me. also I couldn’t flinch lock them cuz I’m bad. So I just put on the health boost 3 charm. But idk I’m just not destroying monsters all that fast.

CC means crowd control. I believe they are saying this one is best for inflicting statuses on the monster such as Paralyze, sleep. etc. You would use those types of ammo.

Because it's worse for focus build. TA Blast, has 3 recoils, slow reload, 4 clip size, high deviation. TA Glutton, has 2 recoils, normal reload, 6 clip size, average deviation. For sticky and cluster, Blast's damage is 270 with 1 augment slot and magda has 315 with 2 augment slot. Sure you can use TA Blast and get access to all three, but to deal very high damage, you need to focus to 1 specific damage and maximize that.

R6 Glutton is the next best option yes. Same ammo stats as the R7, just with less raw so less damage per shot.
