I was afflicted with sihr and jinn, as a graduate student of knowledge. I was insane and hospitalised for mania and psychosis. Did ruqya and experienced many disturbing things. They use to fight me back and would confuse me with the strangest thoughts and mind control. I also saw the shadows of hundreds of different sized jinn surrounding me and watching me. I communicated with jinn in my mind as they were possessing me. Jinn pretended to be Allah and extremely crafty and would tell me I'm his most beloved servant in the world at this time. Every emotion was intense. I was absolutely exhausted when I regained sanity for months. I didn't see the true form of jinn, nor could I describe the voices in any tangible way.. I felt the points of Sihr in my body like a voodoo doll whenever I would go into salah. So many ajeeb things happened to me and the trauma took months and months for me to return to somewhat normal function. A lifetime of strange and unbelievable experiences. Westerners would call delusions and hallucinations. This can happen to anyone, even the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam was a target of Sihr so don't think you can be safe without being vigilant with adhkars. I recommend daily recital of Manzil along with adhkars. I experienced miracles of the Qur'an when I was afflicted, it had a beautiful floral fragrance and even the taste of ruqya water was mesmerising. A lot can happen in a moment when you are afflicted and so much happens in an hour, and when it's a month or more in that state it's just so crazy, not needing sleep or food but the physical body suffers. May Allah heal all those who've been victims of the evil of the unseen and every ailment. Aameen

The sihr created so much turmoil In my marriage to the point that I saw my husband of 12 years and the father of our children as a total enemy. You have no idea how much damage Sihr did to my life and I'm still working on getting my life back on track day by day. Sihr is rampant and people do it openly now, those who practice don't even need a motive to do evil or harm someone because that's just how evil they are. I came face to face with a Hindu witch when I was afflicted and Alhamdulillah I gained the upper hand with Allah's help and I have so many stories of what happened to me. Allahul Musta'aan!
