How awful! I recall having read an account of dybbuk possession that was clearly a case of a teenaged girl suffering abuse from elders in her community. A true horror story. The perfume being an invitation to possession, particularly at night, sounds like both an attempt to control but also a set-up for something similar- a scare tactic to control the woman or justify her abuse if she refuses to submit. If she makes the decision to wear the perfume and thereby 'arouses the spirits', then who is to be blamed should she be abducted at nightfall, beaten, drugged, and so on... Made an example of... 'look and see how perfume led to this poor woman's shattered condition'.

According to many scholars sex & marriage to Jinn’s is permissible. Many scholars say it’s disliked. The funny thing is the debate over whether it is ok to have intercourse with a Demon. It’s quite odd indeed.

First piece of advice. Do NOT convert. And do not forgo your principles to appease the Moslems. They will try to dominate. I date a Moslem, well…she has left it now. The Moslems family are not going to accept the non Moslem partner. You may have a difficult time ahead.

I'm a European woman and in our folklore we also have a supernational figure that sits on your chest giving you nightmares and a choking sensation. It is interesting because that figure (of course depicted as a woman) was called the Mare. The part -mare in the word nightmare comes from the name of that figure. It is the first time that I've heard that there exists a Jinn in Islam that does exactely the same as the Mare in Europe. Same human experience I guess. Wonder if other cultures have a similar figure. Would be interesting to know.

@@tulpas93 , if I had the free hours available to create timestamps I would have done so. Instead, I was forced to skim through this production. Pointing out a valid problem is not the same thing as whining, chum. These mega-videos are out of reach for many working people. On a recent day, 6 of my favorite vloggers produced videos that were 1-6+ hours long. I would have needed 19+ hours to watch them all. Impossible. I urge all vloggers exposing Islam to go back to 5-20 minute "sound bites", where they cover one topic thoroughly and concisely, without all the chitchat. They will reach a much larger audience that way.
