The point of Pain's speech here is to drive home the fear of uncertainty through the possible outbreak of nuclear war. According to his ideology, this very fear of uncertainty would radically force people to grow up. Stride is an instinctive need to survive people that prevents you from moving and thinking freely. The memory of Hiroshima and Nagasaki is deeply rooted in the Japanese people, that's why that forbidden jutsu is the nuclear bomb.

It’s difficult to describe what these chapters did to the community when the manga was weekly at the time. Back then we only had fan translations but those dudes would work hard to bring us the weekly chapters just a few hours after it released in Japan. The entire community was in SHAMBLES bruh!! None of us could believe that kishimoto actually killed him. People were really crying (not in the whiny sense) on the forums back then, like legit shedding tears. To this day it’s one of my favorite community experiences as a manga reader and I’m happy to have experienced it in real time with all the people that were around back then. It was an amazing moment in the history of the medium of manga .

5:40 it was pretty obvious from the start of the first episode of Naruto that minato was Naruto’s father. They look a lot alike, both had wind jutsu, could both do rasengan, both could summon frogs, and it would make no sense if minato just randomly sealed kuruma inside a random baby he knew nothing about. Obviously it was his son

I agree it was obvious but we never knew what type of chakra nature Minato had. We could infer it was wind because of his last name but we didn’t know that name for YEARS . And even still I don’t think his primary/dominant chakra nature has been confirmed. Although we can assume he likely mastered all 5 types through his life since he was hokage and so strong
