Man, I take my hat off to you guys, I've watched this build like 3 times already and every time it is as exciting as the first time! Could you do a cost breakdown or at least a rough budgeting and time spent to give a rough idea what people might be in for if taking on this king of a project?

The hand break idea was something I’ve always thought I would do and up till this point I thought I was clever due to never seeing anyone else do it lol. I wanna get one of those billet e-brake style drift car ones. Always thought that would be great for reverse. Looks great.

We just put a billet Ebrake handle modified to work the IBR switch in the 300hp 11ft we built!

Did you guys TIG everything? I've seen YT vids where people MIG everything, and now one where you TIG everything. If I was to undertake a project like this.. What would your recommendation be, MIG or TIG? From what I know, you need two welders if you want to do both... Thoughts? Thanks.

We TIG welded everything Such a nice and strong weld No need for grinding after Takes a bit longer but worth it my opinion You will need a spool gun to MIG weld.

Caymccarp total investment varies heavily based on what seadoo you choose. The boat kit starts at around $5-6CAD but the donor you choose could range all the way up to $20k if you buy new. All said and done I would have close to $15k into mine not including the actual labour because everything was done myself.
