Jiu Jitsu For Old Guys Over Under Pass by Bernardo Faria

I did this instructional video in a completely different format, instead of me showing the techniques, the whole instructional video was me teaching Michael Zenga how to use the Over Under Pass. Michael is a great example of the efficiency of the Over Under Pass. He is 48 years old and has won a multiple IBJJF tournaments, only using over under pass.

After many years of training and winning many major titles, Bernardo moved to NYC in 2013 to train and teach at Marcelo Garcia Academy. In 2015 Bernardo achieved his dream of winning the IBJJF World Championship Open class title and his division, doing the double Gold and becoming the 1st in the IBJJF Ranking and also chosen as the best athlete of 2015.

because of you i started doing the over-under pass and it became my #1 weapon. i found many variations through people defending the initial attempt and truly think that it is the single best pass in jiu jitsu. thank you for that!

It changes things, I am just 36 and feel great but some of the modern techniques are a little bit acrobatic and focused on speed but when I use the over under pass I can at least complicate a little bit more to the best guys in my academy. I want to be an specialist with this pass-

Im 47 and I love the over/under. This is perfect for me because even though it works I'm always doing it wrong.
