Nice find, that rear pouch could be used to store your phone in whilst charging.

They state to not place a phone or power bank into the pouch for charging. It states it's only for cable charging because placing things with batteries while charging with overheat the device mostly since it's also in the heat behind the thin panel. It also will decrease charging capabilities when the tech device heats up. It's better to place the device in your backpack or find a place to get it out of the sun. The panel will not protect it from the sun.

Nice review. I do really like foldable solar panels for flexibility when you need temporary off grid power anywhere that you may need it. They are also nice for quickly getting some practice using solar.

Good review……. But how handy would it be to have a usb volt/amp reader plugged into the panel to see what it’s actual output is. I’ve bought panels off Temu and sent them back because the actual output was shockingly bad. At least it said fast charging, so that’s something.

Solar panel guy here and a eletric longboard rider. For me to charge my longboard it requires a small solar generator with MPPT capabilities. I bought a Bluetti EB3A since it's cheap and can handle high watt devices like E bikes and so on. My issue I have is even with a 200w solar panel plugged into the solar generator and having the generator charging my longboard, my eletric input from sun is 160 watts while the board is consuming 230 watts. So even with a nice setup I still can't maintain a decent charge.

I bought and tested against each other reboot wins twice the watts only downside a little bigger. This solar panel could put 1 percent on your iPhone 14 every 40 seconds and the big blue about 1:19 seconds

Bigblue does not support the same PD 3.0 speeds. This one he's showing does support that and more types of devices. Big blueish known for having bad control panels and at times don't charge devices at what theu should. Plus Bigblues are terrible when in shade and going back into the sun they don't reboot and QC the speed unless you replug the device back in. If it's a power bank then it doesn't matter going bwtween shade and sun.
