@@freeweights101 think of Shams and Woj like rivals... They’re always trying to be the first to break the news on an NBA story. 2 weeks ago Shams broke news that Lakers were pursuing JJ reddick. 1 week ago Woj broke news that Lakers were actually offering Dan Hurley the coaching position instead, (which was true) basically implying Shams had bad info. Then Hurley rejected the offer this week and now Woj is breaking news that JJ Reddick is being pursued by Lakers. So Shams info from 2 weeks ago was not inaccurate after all.

Becasue both of them truly think they are the smartest people in whatever room they are in. They are both extremely ego driven. JJ Reddick might not be everyone's first pick to be the coach, but you can't deny that he is smart, confident and can talk basketball with the best of them. I like JJ he is showing he is ready for the challenge. Dan Hurley is a coward thats why his level is screaming at teens and psychology majors. He not built to lead a prestigious franchise like Lakers. JJ is showing he is not afraid and I respect it.

Dan Hurley did the correct thing. It was an insult what the Lakers offered him. 11 million a yr. Please! I wouldn't have taken the job either

Honestly Dan is probably smart to stay at UConn, he can be historic & prestigious in his own way. Imagine if he 3peats! That would be incredible, also Lakers coaches have been getting fired at a crazy rate. Frank Vogel was the coach of a championship team & I feel like his reputation only improved a bit because he was fired not long after.

Football is my first love, and I've only been a legit NBA fan for for about 12 years. Even *_I_* know it takes at least 2 and a half years for a team to work the way envisioned. Sometimes it might even take only 1 and a half years, but it takes *_time._*

JJ has an incredible HC Demeanor as well as the knowledge wisdom and poise to be a Incredible HC in The NBA For Many Many Years. He will be as every bit as good as Steve Kerr and he will have the opportunity to showcase it to the world. I'm excited for JJ as he is one of my fav shooters in basketball history!!!!
