I wasn't going to do a video of Ramona, there are plenty already on YT, but when I read JJ's experience with Helen Hunt Jackson, it gave it a different point of view. I've known about the Ramona story for many years, and Rancho Camulos. I didn't know much about Helen Hunt Jackson. When I began researching her, I was quite fascinated with her life and writings. Several of her stories are on YT with audio versions. the 1910 and 1928 silent movie versions are both on YT as well. Again, I used my Dear Friend Cristina's music to enhance your viewing experience. :-) Her link is below. I also posted a link to 2 parts of the Ramona book on audio from YT, a short presentation of Helen Hunt Jackson, as well as a link to information about the Pageant in Hemet.
The 1st 4 paragraphs are from Saga of El Tejon, and JJ Lopez. The rest I wrote. I also put a little synopsis of the story below. I hope you enjoy the video.
