And you don't know any of them. You know him. That's part of it the Job in LA. A part I believe he will excel in. The same fans asking for an "assistant coach" hated Darvin Ham by game 5 last year, even after he took the team to the Western Co ference finals and with a better record this year. He actually improved and the fans called for his job by before a quarter of the season was over.

Bro as a Lakers fan I don’t want to be negative but I don’t think Reddick will do much more for us than Darvin. I just don’t get how a guy gets hired with no coaching experience at all. I like Lebron but I believe he had a lot to do with this hire and for that reason I would rather Lebron leave the Lakers because we aren’t going anywhere. I honestly don’t have any good expectations for next season. But go ahead and prove me wrong JJ because I just want my team to win.

He’s not going to surprise everyone. The only negative you could say is no coaching experience but flipside most coaches even the best are overrated. They can have knowledge, coaching experience but not a single coach in history is taking a team low on talent to a championship, not the pros not college, not high school. His staff and how he plane on handling defense will be interesting but it’s still going to come down to the players and rotations which was one of Ham’s biggest problems. Ham is a coach players would want to play for but his lineups and rotations were horrible not to mention lakers mgmt doesn’t help abd I’m not counting lbj in that. The lakers also have more talent than many act like if they can stat healthy and let some of those guys do their thing instead of standing in cornera

alot of people think that developing players is not a very important part of nba head coaching. not nearly as important as it is at college or hs levels. and when done in nba many tend to think of player development specialists as solely playing that role. but that's flawed. if jj can do what he's suggesting here, help players, then he'll be good. if that is, the lakers give him the time to "help" and the right players to "help." head coaches assist in development by givng players ( the right ones) favorable circumstances and focused challenges in small but consistent doses during nba games. he definitely saw firsthand how player development works. salary cap rules mean you need quality players 4 thr 10 (rotational) that are affordable.
