I AM BUILDING BEACH HOMES WITHIN ACCRA, GHANA NOW THAT I HAVE MOVED TO GHANA FROM AMERICA
In the mid-1950s, there began a new era in which African Americans began to migrate to Ghana as a result of its independence. African Americans, especially civil rights activists such as W. E. B. Du Bois and Julian Bond, went to Ghana to aid the country's development and escape the racism of the United States.
Austin moved from the USA to Ghana and has lived here for about 23years now. He has a background in civil engineering and so he used his expertise to get into the field of home construction and real estate in Ghana. He has built several homes in the past in various locations, from East Legon in the Greater Accra Region to Aburi in the eastern region of Ghana. He describes his current beach houses project to be the ultimate project out of all he has done in the past.
These beach homes are located within Tema and he is looking to build 60 of them in total. The properties are located right across from Sakumono beach and within very close proximity to the airport. The homes are very spacious all roads to access the site are completely done making it easy to drive to the premises. These houses are also priced at affordable rates.
When moving to Ghana from the diaspora, one of the main things to consider is buying a home or building a home.
If you are interested in any of these properties send an email to amajasminee@gmail.com or ofie.info@gmail.com

My name is Jasmine and I have relocated from Sydney Australia to Ghana in west Africa as of the year 2020.
My parents are of Ghanaian descent and so am I although I was born in Australia. Here on my channel, my goal is to give you a real glimpse into what it’s like to live in Ghana, from the Ghanaian food, to the Ghanaian culture, to the Ghanaian lifestyle and everything in between. My goal is to satisfy your curiosity about Ghana and help inspire to explore Ghana.
My prayer is that these videos do just that for several African’s in the diaspora.

Hi Stephen Obeng can I find a beautiful home in Kwahu that does not flood, and will not hurt a entire environmental community? I am a vegan and I require lots of fruits and veggies more than 3 times daily because it acts like water in the body. So I have no meat products in my diet. I am also using a blender for greens, salad dressings and plus a strong desire to make salsa, stews and my own healthy drinks. I need a house with land not a compound space for parking cars! 😢😢😢. Yet also with a affordable price. I am a master gardener. My future farm will not be in usage for any type of violence but rather growing in my green house flowers, healing herbs, wild mushrooms, and some African and American type hard to grow berries. ❤🎉❤ And yes lots of palm trees, mangos, avocado coconut trees and banana trees with Gods blessing!!!!!!!!!

I also know how to make my own compost naturally. And how to recycle, but also reserve my water usage. The problem is the house prices in Ghana keep going up a long with the prices of building materials. Not all Black Americans are extremely wealthy!!! Many of us have only a house to sell in a serious downturn economy

What many people, especially people not originally from Ghana don't know is that the sea in Ghana is very salty and so is the wind/air blowing from the sea. Any metals in close vicinity gets corroded in few yrs time. This means the iron rods in the concretes in your house will eventually be affected by corrosion and they will begin to fall apart. Metals in your windows, roofs , etc will have to be changed after few years. You vehicles will face similar problems. This will add unnecessary Costs burden on you. Why do you think most Ghanaians won't build expensive houses near the sea ?

My issue with lots of my friends is that almost all the houses in Ghana are similar (Boxy). There isn’t any slick or wow design to it. Also the developments of a community. In order for Ghana to be developed it lies on the shoulders of this builders. This homes in particular is affordable but there are other homes similar to the price of homes in Florida with beautiful communities and amenities.

Florida is not Ghana. People moving to Ghana for the culture, for the sunshine, less stress, not feeling like a stranger, freedom to be just treated as a human if they are black. People move to Florida for the weather and to avoid paying property taxes. Noone is moving there for it''s people or culture.

@@eileenwatt8283 pls let be real there are majority of Ghanaians ready to live to the west. It’s only people who are tired of the west and people who are tired of the same culture who leave. The question here is about development pushing the limit high.
