Thanks so much for this video. Just followed your steps exactly and now have the pace car indicators working on my 2019 tiguan Rline but only on the rear lights. Side and front indicators are still stock for some reason 🤷🏻‍♂️ still im happy with this

Hey, Just did this on my GTI using VCDS. Only the outers flash with the indicator. Both inner and out flash fine when the hazards are one. Any ideas why?

It’s the TSI GT Edition but my lights are after market lights which is most likely why they don’t work when this coding is done

Theoretically yes, if you do it through the app it'll do it the same way it's just a shortcut (hence needing the credits) the settings should be the same if you go into the long coding side 👍🏼

It's 50/50 mate. Depends on the tester, I never got stopped or had an MOT fail because of it. I know some people who have failed MOTs because of the lights. It may be an idea to switch it back come MOT time.

To be fair if you enable them through the long coding, by the time you come around to MOT you should have enough credits to quick code them off and back on again, if not just build some credits up by watching a few ads

Pro gives you access to long coding, so you can manually change the code, and not use credits to make the changes. On the standard version you use points to make changes. You can earn free points by watching videos or buying them.

Yeah, anytime the indicators are active it’ll happen. You don’t need the Pro version to activate them, but you’ll have to go through the “Apps” menu and activate them through there. It does cost 10 credits which is £1.99 otherwise you can watch videos on the app and earn credits for free. The Pro option, albeit more expensive, allows you to do the long coding as I do in this video, so you can make as many changes as you want. Hope that helps

Nope, the MK7.5 hatch has the dynamic indicators from stock I think. If it is a MK7.5 Estate with this style tail lamps then yes it should work

I don't believe so no, you could always retrofit the GTI/GTD/R rear lights and then you could get it to work. It's only on the LED taillights

You cant, you can only get this style, or a similar style using a wiring loom which makes the transition look a little smoother. Otherwise your best bet is to purchase some MK7.5 taillights
