I'm not sure why exactly this happened, but after going through the road sign coding and high beam assist coding, somehow the reverse gear trigger for my rear view camera actuation and both of my reverse lights are not longer activating. 2016 golf r, I've gone through and reversed every change I could find, still nothing. Any ideas on what could be going on? No active faults either, car drives perfect.

Definitely activating that on my 2020 golf R how dumb to have the stuff already in the car to be to it but have it turned off lol on the bright side so many features can be enabled just using a simple scan tool or the pro stuff if you prefer it.

Nice vid, also own the Pro. Have analouge dash on my GTI Clubsport though.. But would be sweet if an outer red ring around the dash's speed sign could be set to blink or pulsate, just to indicate a speed sign change. Or perhaps having a function like that when say a speed camera is coming up.. 👍

Low 7s is my legit average. For long hwy trips I can get it into 5L/100. It’s within 1L per 100k of what my GTI got for economy. It launch hard from almost every stop but cruise normal after that.

I’m coding manually, it costs nothing to change settings that way. Credit system is for the ‘apps’ they put in to do the coding for you. Convenience fee. You can code anything with no extra fees with the PRO code.

I'm going to get myself into enough trouble as it is :P Question: Amazon tells me the OBD Eleven is out of stock. I've tried looking around the interwebs to find more info, but nothing solid as of yet. Has anyone heard anything about these coming back in stock any time soon? I heard rumors that a new version may be coming out soon, maybe that's part of it? My brother has an old vagcom/vcds, but long coding is killing me. :S Is it worth learning more about it to do it manually? Or should I just wait patiently for the OBD Eleven to come back? Thanks!

You can do ambient lighting with any OBDeleven using apps and the credit system. It’s easiest way I did not code mine manually, you only need pro for manual adaptations and canbus long coding.

@@netcruzer On a latest technology Peugeot that has that ability of road sign detection and adaptive cruise control, when the system recognizes the speed sign you have to press confirm on the cruise control in order to input that speed setting to the system. it's not fully automated yet I would like to think without having to interact with it.

No hacks. This is using the CANBUS coding functionality of VWs since 2006+. The VERY newest models have something buit in that tracks coding changes, but OBD11 got approved and it's still allowed to make changes on the very newest vehicles.

Hi, great videos! Do you know if there's any way to adapt the digital dash so that different information appears in the centre of each dial? At the moment when you change them between 'Classic, Efficiency, Navigation...' it changes both dial centres, whereas I want what is shown for Efficiency in the left dial and what is shown for Navigation in the right dial.

That always remains, it's a silent message and doesn't affect functionaliy. As far as I know It's because I'm in North America and our signs look different.

For coding changes? Adaptive lane keeping, key fob buttons active with ignition on, remote windows, heated seat retention, fan speed indicator on auto, accent color change and dots background display in gauges. Also the tail light recoding.

VW doesn’t use TPMS sensors. It’s based on the wheel rotation detected with the pressure changes.

I’ve got a couple of questions about this before I go ahead and purchase one of these. Will this void any of the manufacturers warranty? I don’t want to plug it in and then find out that it voided my drivetrain warranty because it tripped some kind of flash counter. Also, if someone uses this interface the wrong way, can they mess up their digital dash or negatively alter the coding? Or does this have safeguards out of the box that will protect the user from messing up their car? Also, can you scan/run diagnostics on the car and get fault codes using this if something is wrong with the car? Lastly, do y’all have a similar product that can be used to alter and customize the infotainment system and update the navigation system?

No, Yes, Sort of, Yes, No. it’s a pro level diagnostic tool, making coding changes does not void warranty or cause flash counts. BUT you could mess up coding if you don’t know what you are doing and doing manual adaptations or long coding. Keep track of the changes you make to revert it if needed.

Alternatively, if I stick with the presets that are already built in to the program and follow the instructions, I won’t mess anything up, right? I’m not a car guru at all and I’m a total beginner with this, so I guess the intelligent question is “if I am a total noob with this, can I use it fairly risk free as long as I follow the directions and don’t get creative and try to make my own codes?” I’m thinking about asking my wife for this for my birthday, because I’m big on customizing stuff, but I want to make sure that I’m not going to put myself in way over my head. I do have experience rooting phones, and this concept is similar (but not) so I’m confident in my ability to follow instructions. 😂 One last question- does this modification only work with the Golf R or will it work with other VWs that have the digital dash? I really appreciate the information. Thank you
