The box it comes in makes a great carry case. Since you can't put it back in the box right side up with the vertical stabilizers installed (using the small screws in the bag with spare props and screwdriver), you simple cut out two slots in the rear of the foam liner, then put the MO2 in upside down. Totally protected now. Add a carry handle if you wish.

Parrot could take a 2nd shot at Disco with VTOL. A cool aspect of Disco was being able to fly for so long and far. But people had trouble with landing, and being unable to hover when needed, and being unable to recover from loss of control from bank angle, or from wind conditions, which resulted in lost planes. A hybrid design has a lot more room for innovation left.
@CAPTAINDRONE7984 жыл бұрын
For some reason the PARROT DISCO was a failure in sales. Probably because they offered it at a price that was out of reach for most people. If PARROT makes another version, they have to keep the price low.
@zyxyuv16504 жыл бұрын
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 True. When I was looking at the Disco originally, I was concerned that I'd lose the plane and it would be $1200 gone in an instant. I watched a bunch of videos about it and saw people losing their planes and saying it was a gamble that you could potentially lose after a few flights. That was the reason I didn't buy it. If it was a hybrid at the Anafi price point that could recover from arbitrary error and could land easily, I would have felt much more confident about putting money into it. Many added 4G LTE with mods a few years later, and that would be an essential feature for long range.

That's not counting an hour of work I did for our Church sitting in a Wheelchair in 30 MPH gusts with the temp at 30F. Then getting better mid December I fell again and rebroke my right ankle in the same place. This time we're holding out to see if it will heal. Anyway I've been flying Planes more this past year they are a refreshing change from my DJI Drones. Also break easier when you smash them into walls. I like the Delta?? Wing Planes and the fact you have more freedom and flexibility than just flying a camera drone. Honestly that's what they are. So i'm going to the site and buying this. If I ever heal I'll learn to fly it. For now I just have to envy you.

I like your reviews, but the problem I find is a lot of the drones you review are not directly available in Canada. To order them means that you must put your faith in the delivery services (and custom handling) of a retailer located on the other side of the globe. Not particularly comforting knowing one is ordering something where the actual landed cost is a little open ended.

@CAPTAINDRONE7984 жыл бұрын
The SKYDIO2 shot the video from above in this episode. The SKYDIO can only follow a human or a car and nothing else. Unlike a DJI drone where you can draw a box and select an object, the SKYDIO2 has no such ability.

@@CAPTAINDRONE798 captain. If you check out accelerated heights channel you will see the skydio track another drone whilst flying.
@CAPTAINDRONE7984 жыл бұрын
@@funkyduckproductions.8844 Oh, that is not tracking that is the SKYDIO following the GPS location signal from the BEACON so it is trying to look for a person while flying and just keeps turning in the direction of the BEACON. If the BEACON can't find you as a person because it lost tracking, it then reverts to the signal of the BEACON to acquire and target you, then follow. Still, if you placed the BEACON on your dog, it will probably keep the dog in the frame for 50% of the video.
