It was one of the best things about the season, watching Lexie turn into an absolute offensive menace, raining 3s. I loved it. I think the explanation is simply confidence. Everybody in the team was becoming more successful, Aliyah's pick-and-rolls got a lot better, Kelsey went nuts in and around the paint punishing the other teams with speed and agility, and Lexie couldn't but think 'well, I'm gonna join in', and confidence breeds success!!

Can we show this to the rest of the media covering the W as an example of what we need more of? Great basketball questions, from people who were obviously watching and paying attention to the games, that were focused on Lexi’s role and impact. They didn’t get into any of the drama that got way overplayed during the year and she wasn’t just being used as an almost anonymous stand-in, just to ask a bunch of questions about Caitlin. Lexi gave some very good insight into playing off the ball, off of star players, and the mentality that goes into that. The idea of driving to vacate space for another shooter to fill is something I try to stress to kids that aren’t necessarily comfortable driving all the way to the basket and so will hesitate to put the ball on the floor at all.

Very likeable person, as are CC, Kelsey, Temi and more. Unlike quite a few others, none mentioned, none forgotten in the W.

Listening to interviews with Caitlin and Lexie and getting to understand their personalities it’s so easy to get a feel for the chemistry between them. With all the BS in the league I’m glad the sisterhood is strong so that the whole team can stay grounded. Now with the new coach and potential new additions on the court the Fever will win 2025. P.S. can you believe that this is coming from 60 yr old white dude that never followed basketball except for MJ. Haha!

Let's see more Lexie, more Aliyah, more Napheesa....more other players who may be interesting, articulate, analytical. Less A'ja and Stewie, and DT. Carrington, C Carter and AR...and no more Swoopes. Honestly, I can even do with a little less Caitlin, even though she's far and away my favorite player. And most of all, replace the commissioner and have someone do a MUCH better job with league discipline, marketing and officiating.
