He’s developed slower but still great defender was getting into his own on offense latter in the season and was routinely scoring in the upper 20s efficiently so I think next year he can make a big jump if he continues where he left off.

If he doesn't, you might see him appear at an all-star or two over his career, but he won't have much of a chance at being a true franchise player. He has all the other abilities and as long he continues the growth there, he should be a main staple of this team for a long time. But that jumper -- not even the 3-point shot. We all see what DeRozan can do with that midrange game.

The issue is as a lot of us non casuals know is that Thibs is being too stubborn and putting way too much focus on Randle at first. Have RJ be the number 1 guy and give more playing time to IQ, Obi, Sims, Grimes and Cam Reddish and guarantee there will be more ball movement and a better team that I dare say is close to the Grizzlies. It's ridiculous that they just traded for Cam and he rarely gets any playing time.

He can definitely be Jimmy Butler 2.0. He’s already a good defender and has upped his scoring to 20 PPG this year. I think he’s developing at a Jaylen Brown/Brandon Ingram rate where he’ll be great in year 4/5, but it takes him a while to adjust to the NBA.
