I own two pairs of Superduty boots - one with the honey soles and they are very comfy! Great for walking on hard cement all day. Also have a pair with the very soft "fire and ice" compound and they are even more comfy. So far, both are wearing nicely - no issues!

Awesome breakdown of all the outsole's! Two pairs of OT's. One in brown bison and the other in black cowhide seidel. Man, that honey sole is incredibly comfortable and soft on my feet. If you guys ever made them with some of the wickett and craig latigo leathers they offer your sales would go thru the roof!!! Either way great job guys. That lineman shank makes a huge difference on the OT boot. Such a flexible boot.

Choose your sole carefully I have 24 plus years experience with Viberg boots with the 100 White X and Red X soles. Since I started wearing JK Super duty the second set I'm trying the honey vibram. Do I like the honey vibram yes, good cushion, good grip, its a good sole but not on a heavy use work boot like a Super duty you are not going to be happy with the wear. I mainly work in the dirt I'm on concrete floor of our shop. My next pair of SD boots or rebuild I'm going back to the white X, its just a bit tougher sole, wears slower, more durable. If you were a trades guy building houses hands down the OT with honey vibram sole. I've had vibram Christy soles on "Chelsea romeo" slip on boots those are cushy you worked on a concrete floor all day. They do not do well with heat when I worked in my families welding shop many decades ago the soles melt, oil and grease or solvents the christy sole does the funky chicken.

Thanks for going thrue all the soles. I have a pair of Custom Super duties coming some time this month. Anyway I chose the white x soles. I have a pair of climbers with the standard 100s. I have been wearing them almost everyday for three years. I take very good care of them. The only downfall is I do a lot of work in peoples homes. So i have pair of slip on rubber shoes. And that works great. Anyway I am ready to see how the white x feels. And to all of you at Jk. Keep producing great foot wear. Thank you.

One of these years I'm going to make a trip up there and get some boots, tired of spending 350 every year and a half to have a worn out sole but still good uppers. But also don't want to be spending 200 every year on worn out soles, so the sole game could be interesting.

For a concrete floor, an Amish friend wants to know which last longer, the standard 100, Red-X or White X. He owns a sawmill and sometimes helps his brother with shoeing horses.
@jkbootsusa2 ай бұрын
The Rex-X would have the longest wear cycle. That would be our recommendation.

I wonder, I have flat feet but have been told to lean towards the higher heel and arch to provide support; and to avoid the lower heel boots. Is this good advice?
@jkbootsusa13 күн бұрын
The solution depends on your unique foot structure, comfort preferences, and the activities you’ll be doing in your boots. A slightly higher heel and supportive arch can help relieve strain caused by flat feet by redistributing weight more evenly and reducing over pronation (when the foot rolls inward). This can also improve alignment for your ankles, knees, and hips. Some people may prefer lower heels or minimal arch support, especially if their feet are used to functioning without it. With boots with higher heels or added arch support, it’s a good idea to ease into them gradually to let your body adjust. Insoles can also be a great way to balance the right level of support for your specific needs. Hopefully this helps, If you have any other questions feel free to reach out to our customer support team at general@jkboots.com or call us at (509) 487 - 0154

V-bar is better on wet mossy limestone & wet mossy logs if your not wearing corks. I don't like the 100, it clogs up & slides too much. An Amish friend likes his 430 sole (his wife has the V-bar on a custom Superduty).

Please refer to our sizing guide to get the correct measurements, you can find this on our site under "Support' then 'Sizing'! If your foot is 10.5 inches long you will order a 9.5 in length. As for your width please refer to our sizing guide to make sure but sounds like a 4E width! Its an extra step but insures you get the right size! Hope this helps 👍.
