My dad used to get me into doing this for fun with him, but we didn't do the 5 star, we did the 3 star blocking instead. This drill is actually really really helpful if you want to increase your hand speed and your mind and body coordination.

2:43 I like it.. it’s got a DAN CHI SAO element n feel to it. Fantastic. I do a blocking set too. 1. BACK HAND FOOK SAO “Used while stepping forwards. More of a corkscrew FOOK SAO/Huen Sao honestly. A crossing of the hands. Swords meeting is a good way to describe the contact. 2. FRONT HAND BUI GEE “This comes out from underneath my FOOK SAO which is also a JAO SAO should the option merit itself. So I’m using the JEET (forearm) to intercept, but sometimes we can leave it there, as a BONG or QUAN SAO. All palm forward n street friendly. 3. CHEUNG CHOY (NAO Choy) from the back left cross. 4. FIRED FROM THE ELBOW “This punch gets fired once we have our elbow on his elbow. 🥊💯💥😎

Great video and great fundamentals Sifu George Hajnasr. Everything is flowing together because of the correct bi jong stance and the non-telegraphic motions of your movements and that's because you're using the correct mechanics. This is the way JKD is suppose to be taught.

LoretoSaludares It should help your timing in ‘pulling the trigger’ I’m sure . Along with a good speed rope regimen, be faster than any punch/kick..and the rope itself primarily and fundamentally, for what it’s value can potentially serve.

LoretoSaludares I trained with boxers this skill renders them useless because you are controlling the center.Most people don’t know how to properly use the art that’s why they have trouble with boxers.Kick boxers are more difficult to beat because they have a third weapon

Because like I don't think anybody in the world can defeat me and I would NOT underestimate this guy. like trust me i know I would still escape this guy like because I am just a ninja ok because I been through shit ok and I apply my skills in the street and I've never been defeated ever so... but this guy could beat me just as easy I can beat him. because he knows how it works. i'm talking like deep right now about this ok see he will always kill a man within 3 seconds of contact when engaged in an altercation understanding it were life or death.. now thats one skill... see I only believe in things that are practical I am blind to things that are not able to be directly applied real time in any scenario.. I am a knife thrower, I am part of the only club in my city, and many people like to count their steps before a throw, i just glance away because I do not understand for the better of me why they would throw if this were the case,,, I only throw If i can just walk randomly and throw from any distance.. so in the same way you can see how being a good talker may save your life or many peoples lives for that matter. or how being able to survive in the wilderness is much more important in another situation in life. infact in our modern day, how often do you get into fight in a month.. probably none, so why is it practical to learn how to fight.. you should be learning to make money. because if even it came to fighting, if you had the cash you could hire guards and install security systems to protect yourself and win in that fashion.. the only reason I do martial arts is because I perceive myself as a god and would like to if ever things got dirty slaughter my way through to freedom because I also take it very very naturally.. I forget to add, I also burden myself with the idea of being a god because it is my ego that I have major issues with.. I am strong because I am weak, or so to speak.. because I have felt too much pain in my lifetime. I have engraved a promise into my soul. I know that I can never die, and so if it takes me eternity, I will grow until I am powerful enough to control every aspect of the reality I inhabit, and I will create heaven.. We cannot die, the only thing to fear is loosing your memory, that is death.... but I have told you too much.. so you can understand how I am driven to becoming god. for I seek to one day recreate the very world we live in at this moment, but bring justice in precisely the fashion I wish to experience to the life I have lived... I am unstoppable, I am eternal, I am infinite.. Time is an illusion, it is always now. it will always be now, all realities(every new moment every second) are all existing right now, in the now. everything exists now, and so what we experience as time is actually ur consciousness shifting to parallel realities that already have always existed right now, seeing the same thing but from a very very granular different angle or perspective.. for also we have never moved and inch in our lives.. for all of reality is simply a reflection, you are god staring into it's own mind wiping your memory looking for some interesting experiences. it's like god's drug is wiping his memory... but see with this understanding you can clearly come to realize you are eternal, infinite. pain is an illusion. the four laws of creation: 1. you exist - can't change that 2. the all is the one, the one is the all (this is in philosophy but also infact every atom(or smallest particle) is in fact one particle that is massless and can move at an 'infinite' speed and can be everywhere at once appearing as if it were many, it has to cross it's own path to create denser realities such as void space, understand? and also as so our consciousness crosses it's own path's and we encounter one another like you and I.) perhaps in person. or perhaps through a mirror into an etheric dimension called the internet a device crafted with tiny magical minerals and crystals, that is deemed technology not magic called a laptop xD 3. What you give out, you get back. and so If you decide to move your hand, your hand will move. when you act or behave, it has a consequence. this has nothing to do with karma, karma is right here right now in the same manner. the idea is that in the end, I mean when you have grown back into god once again, the only one to judge you, will be you. and so you are your own judge. and when you do harmful things to others. you will eventually realize that those people were other pieces of you, reflections.. and that you were hurting yourself, and you were ignorant. and so you will punish yourself in that way.. also with the idea of god, now yes you have guides, you have angels, you have a god. but remember this.... the only way god can love you deeply and so passionately, is because god is you.. you look over yourself.. remember that,, 4. Change is the only constant, except for the first three laws! all that constantly always happens is change, the only things that cannot change and you can really really stretch this concept very practically. THE only things that cannot change, is the first three laws. everything else in all understanding or perceptions in life can be changed... period! now I have no idea why I wrote all of that... I just did out of nowhere. so maybe it's ment for a certain someone to come across.. but uhhhhhh, yea don't be so uptight, this guy is awesome you don't need to be perfect. focus more on what is practical, applicable in your day to day life. let go of your ego, EVERYTHING that is not applicable in your current life is not necessary just like you move like water in jkd, and fill the gap. you instantly learn and adapt to your environment and become one with it. know it inside out. don't concern yourself with what's outside of what serves you. almost like an infection, quickly covering the entire body making it at home. lose your humanity, it will always be there you have guides, they will guide you. work like a machine, and you will be proud of it in the afterlife when you look back at what you've accomplished.. Namaste. for good insight I recommend: "Alan watts" a British philosopher, and a god..
