Thank you for slowing down the strum pattern. Chords are easy for me, but I struggle with strum patterns and they are key for getting the pieces to sound authentic.

You're exactly right, Doris! It makes me crazy when other teachers don't make any effort to really teach the strum pattern to a song. Thanks Jonathan! This song, and the entire album, are masterpieces! Not a lot of people know that George was the first Beatle to have a solo number 1 (with My Sweet Lord), as well as the last Beatle to have a solo number 1. Do you have any suggestions for a simplified way to handle the key change in the latter part of My Sweet Lord?

Thanks for the fine rhythm lesson on this one. My George H Anthology songbook from Hal Leonard has bogus Rhythm figures (straight DU 1/8 strumming). What you teach here is certainly authentic and really is the heart of this tune. If you have room in your request list, How about Georgy Girl by the seekers?

oh, finally a good explanation about the use of the Ebdim chord! a lesson about dim chords in a chords progression of a rock/pop song would be very useful... I'm thinking to all those '60s songs "from the Brill Building", or the Spector's productions, or also rockabilly tunes like "30 days" by Ronnie Hawkins (there is a diminished chord... but I can't understand wich one and where...), or "Twistin' by the Pool" from Dire Straits (idem... eheheh, could you find it?).

Also I think George played a 12 string on this one. That would probably contribute to making a fuller sound that you were mention, for example sounds like more than one guitar.
