I was a big fan of the original Sodo location of Slicebox, and their new location in Magnolia Village doesn’t disappoint (especially in the square slice and video game department).

lmao magnolia is exactly the type of place where someone would yell at you for sitting on a public bench

You were right the first time, Kenji: you’re looking at Puget Sound. No worries, there are so many beautiful bodies of water in and around Seattle! Thanks for the lovely video.

They would complain! I used to work at pier 91 next to the Magnolia Bridge, and people filed noise complaints when the ships would sound their departure horns for less than a minute in the afternoon.

Well actually, you were right. Puget Sound and the inlet is Elliott Bay. A few years ago we got hip to the fact that there were older names (how waspsie of us). So now the big body of water is the Salish Sea again.

Be careful of the Seagulls in Seattle, Kenji. They're not the creatures you think they are.

folks in Magnolia are not yelling people. I'd say more insular and cool, but unfortunately not in the open "live and let live" spirit. you just have to keep on keeping on with whatever you wish to be doing. the Village is a great place, the area scenic views, the pretty quiet solitude. don't want to apologize for the neighborhood atmosphere but that seems to be its pattern.

What’s the difference between that kind of Sicilian-style square pizza and Detroit?
@Dline87 ай бұрын
Detroit style is more known for the "Pizza Crown" which is the burnt cheese around the edge of the pizza. Sicilian doesn't usually have that
@MotherofMothra7 ай бұрын
Detroit pizza has cheese all the way to the edge of the crust and often, but not always, has the sauce on top of the cheese.
