Have you ever checked out the "genetic wizard" at www.worldofballpythons.com?

I have not I’m relatively new to this but have been wanting to for a long time now. I always have a lot of questions so I watch vids like these to get my answers since only one other person has taken time to answer any of my questions cus I’m a female

@@hannahchantelois8548 I've had conversations through Facebook messenger with Matt from Olympus Reptiles and I've never even purchased anything from him. He is awesome. Check out their KZbin videos if you haven't already. Brian Barczyk has some amazing KZbin videos as well. Brian Kusko does live KZbin vids and will answer any question you have. He also does Triple B TV on KZbin. I like all of the above but I learned the most from Olympus Reptiles. They treat you like a person and not like a sale. Don't be afraid to ask multiple people the same questions. I don't know much but I'd try to help any way I can.

Great video as always. Fairly basic but that's a great break down. Will the next video have more complex genetics? Maybe go over Allelic genes in co dom and recessive like candino, vanilla cream, blackhead spider, etc?

Really enjoy your videos justin, one thing I’m confused on is how people are able to make different combos of pieds, for example something like an albino pied. Using a pundit square you would think you could just put a pied to an albino and they would essentially be co-recessive and you could make albino pieds easy, but you actually get Het pied Het albinos?

Ok this is the easy part what about when you mix multi gene animals that’s the part I don’t get. Also can there be such thing as a super spider? Like so they don’t make normals? Also confusing

Best example yet! What about dominant? Could you show me the dominant equation?
@KINOVAReptiles2 жыл бұрын
Same as incomplete dominant
@TheJcure12066 жыл бұрын
Aren’t things like pinstripe dominant since there is no super form? And incomplete dominant is a visual form of a het? Like pastel being “het super pastel, or Mojave being “het BEL”? Thank you for the video!
@millertimetravels40306 жыл бұрын
Still learning but what are all the dominant genes and recessive genes?

I know this video is 3 yrs old but hoping you see this... my question as a new breeder, how often do you write out your own punit squares for briefings vs using, say... a calculator, like on morphmarket? Just curious... And great video because I was just thinking what the differences were in the 100, 66, 50 percent gets and what they meant. Thanks!

I did a whole series on genetics on my channel. I really like format of your video.
@cartertaylor6863 жыл бұрын
I though Co-Dom and incomplete were different because ... An example of co-Dom would be; if you bred a black cat with a white cat you’d get a black cat with white parts on its body (or vis versa) An example of incomplete dominance; If you bred a black and white cat you’d get a grey cat. The combination would work together and combined rather then work against each other.

@BlackBalledReptiles6 жыл бұрын
Great video! Definitely helped understand a few things. Your educational videos are always great. though I do have a question: Figure if I have a multi-gene animal, lets say BumbleBee (Pastel + Spider ) and lets say an enchi spinner (enchi pinstripe spider) (doesn't have to be exact to this pairing, this one might be a bit difficult) how would you determine your odds of creating a 3+ gene animal using the pundit squares? (MM shows: www.morphmarket.com/c/reptiles/pythons/ball-pythons/genetic-calculator/?s1=Bumble+Bee&s2=Enchi%2CSpinner for the example above)
