JKS Quick Disconnects Install - Jeep Gladiator Mojave

I installed a set of JKS Quicker Disconnects on my stock 2022 Jeep Gladiator Mojave. These are made to work with either the Jeep Wrangler (JL) or Gladiator (JT) with 0 to 2 inches of lift (Part# JKS2032). They require cutting off the passenger side sway bar link axle mount tab, which means once you do this you can no longer return to the factory sway bar links without having the tab welded back on. Other than that, the install is pretty straight forward. I did find it difficult to move the Gladiator Mojave's sway bar up and down in order to store the links on the included retention brackets when the sway bar is disconnected. But hopefully this will become easier to move over time.

I have these on my 22’ Mojave but the 2.5”-6” version. My sway bar is stiff as well, to the point it will not move disconnected. I use velcro to tie up the disco when off road. No issues. The lower pin confused me, didnt realize the kits were different but eventually figured it out.

Out of all the jeeps I’ve owned over the years, none of them had a sway bar that stiff. Must be to help give the Mojave its unique driving characteristics.

This had been an option I was thinking about but after seeing this, maybe I'll just wait a bit. I haven't even manually disconnected mine since I haven't come across the need yet but I'm sure I will. Thanks for kind words! Although the sway bar is very stiff, I was able to move it with the help of a dead blow mallet. Lol! I've found that pulling it up was not as much of a problem as getting it to go back down as it's kind of hard to get at a good angle to push the bar down. Other than that, it's just like your basic quick disconnects. There is a pricier and easier option by Apex, which I thought about but just couldn't swallow the price at this point. Be on the lookout for the next video where I trail test disconnecting and re-connecting the sway bar! Happy trails!

There was no need to because I did not add any lift to the vehicle and the geometry is completely the same. I just wanted the added functionality of being able to disconnect the anti-sway bar for greater axle articulation.

I think you can install that without removing the tires and all you have to do is turn the wheels

You probably could but it’s always good to have some extra room. Especially with how hard that sway bar was to move.

I'm not actually sure how much disconnecting a sway bar would be beneficial and feasible for some of the vehicles you mentioned but perhaps the manufacturers should consider it!

Nice! I’ve test driven a Cherokee Trailhawk before. I really wished I could have taken off-road. I imagine it can do pretty well on a lot terrain with the rear l locker and it’s clearance. It must do great with that sway bar disconnect you have!

They get a little bit easier the more you take them off/put them on. Still kind of a pain though. But they work great!
