I like how you test whats really the abuse these subs and take obviously not feeding it that power all the time but in a slight mistake the subs can take way more power then they say

i had the older w3 12s also w0 15s also had pair of w7 13.5 i think had to sell the w7s before got to them in the car needed the money but i liked the w3 the older ones tho never herd that style one before

my first subwoofer ever was the W6's from the 90's. I had 3 in my trunk on a Phoenix Gold amp, they turned heads everywhere I went then. JL has made some nice subs for a long time. When I first got my van I had a W0V3, then I got a WXV2, upgraded to 2 12W6V2's. Now I switch subs on the weekly. It changes the sound so I'm never listening to the same thing. Thanks for sharing. How would you rate the sound of this subwoofer? I know JL is known for having great sql

The sound is good, and for using 150 watt's it does not sound bad at all, and it can take 4 times that at times easy. I would not push much more than 600 watt's into it and make sure you have a proper enclosure to play it in, not too big and not too small.

That sub is a 2 inch coil full plastic cone junky sub that's costs about 28 bux to make so u do the math they sound very weak

they must make a fortune on the subs they make for sure. They do sound good, and for the power you can supply them with it's not much and they sound good on very little power.
