I have never adjusted them. Simple brake/throttle control is all that is needed mid air to control the car.

Hi steve do you have a video explaining all the differtn types of batteries. 3s , 6s , capacity and such. What it all means. Sorry new to the electric rc. Had nitro powered before. My cheetah will be the first electric rc I ever had running these lipo batteries. I wanted to get a extra battery for my truck. Don't know the differences. Thanks

Wow, I never knew the cheetahs could handle 4s Lipo! Could you please post the make number of the esc? Thanks!! If you put the throttle punch to the lowest setting, you might be able to hit 90 kmh on 4s! ( cause otherwise the car would just backflip instead if running straight) can both the original and updated handle 4s?

I don't know if I'm just unlucky or what. I have the first generation and haven't beaten it near as hard as you just did in the video. So far I've fried an ESC ($35 and back in a couple days), broke a steering link (had to make my own to get by until parts arrived) and recently bent 3 of the CV axles and smoked something in the rear diff. Is there that big a difference between the old and updated model? I was led to believe it was mainly tires, spoiler and a different wheelie bar.

+grnsgottaM nah nothing else is updated. I have vent the drive shafts but just bent them back. I did abuse it though. Apart from that I have had no major issues.

Thanks for the reply. I've ordered replacement parts but will just give bending them back a try. For now, it's FWD only, so need to dig a little and see what's going on in the rear diff. To be fair, the ESC isn't waterproof and I didn't know that, just trusted the packaging. The steering rod was after hitting a thin fiberglass yes marker. Was doing backflips when the CV shafts bent and rear drive went. Ordered an X Maxx, because I hear they are bulletproof. Looks like I need bulletproof.

This is a difficult decision. Now after driving the two I would take to Bison. It seems to have a more linear throttle response then the Cheetah. Regardless, both are awesome!

RC Tanks & Trucks 24/7 Even w the the inferior throttle response to Bison I I think I would grab the 21101 w it's upgrades .. then after I broke the wing n wheelie bar I would grab the prior version Cheetah red body. I do like that shell.

Bash RC thanks so much for the response..have you had any problems locating any replacement parts you may need or wanted to get..the only thing that scares me from buying these banggood/gear best rocks is not knowing if you'll actually be able to get the parts the are listed in the manual that comes with them in the box..thanks again for your help and keep up the awesome vids..i haven't missed one of your vids in awhile now keep up the awesome work

My jlb 21101 recently stopped working properly. It wouldn't listen to my commands and would engage throttle when i wasn't holding the trigger. The steering would stop working after a few turns, and the lights would flicker when i would turn. I already tried putting in a new receiver and transmitter, but that didn't work. I'm fairly new to rc, could somebody tell me what's wrong?

Nice bashing 😀Nice video. but her is some things you don't know about buying Cheetah on Banggood. Ok where to start.. Basically the cars is great looks good driving good but... : Unboxing: Esc wasn't attached to chassis it was loos..let's say ok happens.Next thing is that on the web there is inf on read NO CAR LIGHTS. So I bought led lights. On the end Cheetah is with the lights.. Steering radio looks like used plus turning right and weel didn't come beck to neutral position.. RUN: After 5 min of driving on weet road my esc get weet and I couldn't switch off Cheetah.. I dry esc and its working again. Its not even splash proof and should be waterproof. Run on sand. Spoiler was gone in few min. To hard plastic. Then wheel just feel of.. I lost hex... I fix the wheel then I was driving on the beach again then tire blowout.... hmm bed luck I don't know you decide.

You can go on my fc profile i have short movie of first run on the beach. I'm new in this hobby so im not bashing to much. And if im doing that on sand where is soft and still i had issue with rc. Well this is not Traxxas and cost 260$ i can say that for this price is still worth it 😁
