Hey Joe, I know you don't do videos anymore but just wanted to say thanks for creating these tutorials. I've been a longtime subscriber and several years ago programmed my lights using MYDMX with the help of your tutorials. Now in 2022, I just recently purchased all new lighting and was totally lost on the MYDMX programming but am able to rewatch your videos for a refresher course. Thanks for the work you put into them and leaving them up for viewing. Hope everything is going well in your lighting design journey.

My question.... is there anyway to add 2 scenes together?? I have scenes made already with ADJ par lights and now I added Chauvet LED 150 Intimidator. How do I add scenes to my other scenes?

Hi Joe, Excellent videos with an excellent explanation of MYDMX. I have a question If I have made several scenes using just my led par 56,64's and I have for example made several steps to play a certain scene, Can I run a moving head (tilt,pan etc )independent using the scene builder without it automatically saving it to the running scene? In other words if a scene is active can I operate a moving head without disturbing the already saved active scene? Thanks Bob

Hi, i have 2 intimidator 150 moving heads... I see your moving heads move inward and then outward... How can i do that to mine? Im following how you add your moving heads to the Software but both of my 150s follow each other and not like yours they go inward then outward... Thanks hope i can get some help on thisu

hey Joe, so in this video you say that you can't edit a scene done by the effects engine unless you go to the individual steps and adjust them. I have 4 moving heads mounted on individual truss towers. say I go into a hall that has a wide dancefloor, and my programs are set for a narrow dancefloor. what do you suggest I do? should I save all my position effects so that I can later recall them and edit them into a new scene? will that work?thanks

Halo Joe, great videos, I would like to ask you something that has to do with fx builder, when using multiple moving heads par example 2 inno led beam and two vizi 5r and you want to make the two inno in fx builder with circle fx and speed par example 7, why i cannot have the two vizi on a line fx with different speed like 5? I mean that i cannot separate the speed for each couple of moving heads and effect! Is it possible to happen? Or there is a bag to the programm? Can you help?

+Matthew Cook Yes there was some smoke in the air. The Inno Spot pro is very bright! Especially when put alongside the Pocket Spot Twins

Hello I wanted to know if inno pocket wash is rather powerful for a medium-sized room with some other lights?

+tutoxd90 I find it to be a very punch light for its size. Just remember that its still a 'pocket' wash so don't expect it to be lighting up a wall 50m away

This effects tutorial has been the closest thing yet to getting some response from the cs400RGB laser unit I've been trying to control. Still having an insanely difficult time trying to get anything to happen as desired. No matter what I've done the color won't change, and getting it to do a custom pattern & not one of the ones that came with it as default has been hell. Is there anyone out there who can offer some assistance??? Thanks.

Their stuff isn't any worse than Chauvet. Personally it's better and cheaper.
