How can I add a 2nd fixture with the same dmx address? I have some fixture that are mirrored from left to right on the stage all the time and would like to be able to view them in the visualizer. Thanks

Excellent software. and equally excellent video tutorials! my only problem is the 3d screen doesnt show at all, it just flashes very quickly and reverts to the previous screen on my Dell laptop. Any ideas please? many thanks Kenny

+Yano Stulens MyDMX doesn't have any timeline based control and its not designed to be used that way really. I do know some people have managed it by using Midi notes in a Logic Pro X timeline triggering scenes in MyDMX via the IAC driver. However its not very simple

+Yano Stulens MyDMX is meant to be used for busking. Controlling lights on the fly. You can use midi controller to trigger different scenes, use the wireless iPad app, use a touch screen, use the keys on your computers keyboard or just use the mouse. There are lots of options

Hello, I recently purchased MyDMX 2.0, I watched all your tutorial videos and they helped me to understand this software. So far I like it more that my previous software. The only thing I haven't gotten the hang of is how to edit the fixtures. I have an issue with my Venue ThinPar 64, I usually use them to light up my truss. The profile that comes with MyDMX 2.0 does not work. Tried the 3CH and 7CH mode and no luck, tied editing to be able to control these lights, but have not been able to. I contacted ADJ to see if they have the corrected profile for this fixture. Any Suggestions?

+Marcel Tiedje I always DJ (Traktor 2) and control lights (My DMX 2.0) from same Mac (Mac Book Pro Mid 2012) and have no problem with it. Try It yourself.

Jealous your moving heads show colour beams, mine are white regardless of what colour I choose (Inno Pocket Spots). Hopefully bug will be ironed out when we get the update. On another note, my dongle is not offering control of my fixtures using a MacBook Pro with El Capitan, have you heard of similar issues? Loving the tutorials, your commentary is spot on :D

+Lee Bardell Hopefully we will see an update to the visualiser that fixes these issues! Thats a strange issue with you Macbook. I am running El Capitan on a 2015 Retina MacBook Pro and haven't had any issues. Make sure you are connecting the interface straight into the computer or thorugh a powered USB hub. Also try uninstalling and re-installing the software. If that doesn't work contact ADJ support. Glad to hear you like the tutorials!

Hi Joe. Last night the dongle wouldn't run on my son's W8 pc or my Macbook but did on my W10 laptop. That has been relegated to the subs bench due the integrated graphics card causing crashes with myDMX 2.0 and Serato, hence the ££££ update. I suspect it's a driver issue, hopefully something that will be a addressed in future updates. The interface was going straight into USB 3.0 ports, maybe that's the issue as there appeared to be no problems when going into a usb 2 port. Speaking of usb ports, kinda stingy on a Macbook Pro with only 2 x usb 3.0 ports, spoilt I was with 2 x usb 2 and 2 xusb3 ports on my laptop. Any recommendations for usb hubs? Cheers

+Lee Bardell It might be a USB 3.0 issue. Join the Facebook group and James from ADJ should be able to assist. facebook.com/groups/MyDMX/ Yeh Apple should have at least 3 or 4 USB ports! I currently use Anker USB hubs. You may find you need to get a powered USB hub so everything works properly.

+VokezNinjaHD MA 3D is great but you need to purchase MA hardware to control fixtures and thats not cheap

I use the software and I don't own any hardware, I use the on PC version, but just like MyDMX 2.0 you need to purchase the the DMX converter to take the signal from the computer to the fixtures.
