So really a JM press is same form as close grip bench press and the same ROM for shoulders but you are just bending the elbow more while in a close grip bench press you move more naturally?

No on both. In a bench, you're basically moving the elbow down with a vertical forearm; in a JM press, your elbows don't drop very far and the forearm tilts back. Pause the video when the bar is at my forehead and look at where the elbow and forearm are. It's basically a hybrid of a bench press and skullcrusher. A bit confusing at first but once you do it a few times it'll make more sense.
