Think it took awhile for the movie to develop it's following. And they took the love it was getting as sincere...so they gave the fans more of what they loved. Can't fault them for that.

And I've heard that the director of Deadliest Prey didn't take that direction at all. He took it very seriously. He never really understood *why* people loved his original Deadly Prey, and thought it just appealed to action movie fans in general. He never saw Deadly Prey as "so bad it's good". XD

It's just so amazing how he popped up, right in front of every commando to give them a descending aorta kill shot from just off-camera. If the camera got a super close up of their faces, he could have literally been face-to-face and surprise killed them. I can't wait for "Deadliester Prey!"

David A Prior would be legendary for Deadly Prey but I strangely think this was his finest hour. How many have failed to make a sequel to this sort of beloved cult movie. Mr Prior just kept it simple and gave the fans what they wanted. No winks to the camera - just DEADLIEST PREY! (Dah dah dah!!!)

I started at the oldest videos and have been catching up on the entire channel's history of videos. This is one of the absolute highlights. And you guys actually might be millennials as well.. When our lad is about to shoot chunky one armed dude in the face he's holding a Glock 17 style pistol. But when it cuts to the shooting shot its a Beretta type. What are the odds that I buy China Salesman for $8 on Ebay and while watching it I get the notification of this upload? I paused it to watch this and I could not believe they found aviator sunglasses for this sequel. It's crazy that they shot so many scenes exactly from the first movie. I did get to the Tyson/Seagal fight scene and I can confirm that the guy Tyson beats up is not Seagal. Doing frame advance you can clearly see the Seagal double doesn't even look like him other than the facial hair. Thanks for helping to expand my film collection.

This is probably the first movie I have seen before you guys. I really enjoyed your reactions as I knew what was coming. I purchased Deadly Prey to watch with my son it wasn't until it ended I realised that there was a 2nd disc with Deadliest Prey, so we watched that straight after. I loved it! I discovered the existence of this movie about the same time as you. I couldn't believe it. The original was such an EXCELLENT classic B-movie. They did a great job with this one too. I could have watched a dozen sequels!!! Why did they not make more after the success of the first film. It's almost a reboot/remake.
