Review: Buescher 400 Model 225 Bb Trumpet, 1955

Called by many "The Most Beautiful Trumpet Ever Made", the model 225 is not only a fine looking horn but a great player as well (when, like this one, they're in good condition). This trumpet offers a very clear tone, a very short valve stroke and the cool valve block - flared at the top and bottom. Pics of this horn available at photos.google.... Enjoy ~ Jonathan

Thanks, Kenny. That’s been called ‘the most beautiful trumpet ever made’. Gorgeous valve block. They also made a cornet like it; big, dark sound…. Very nice old horns.
