I think swapping wheels between skates is probably more important than rotating them on the same skate. The wheels on my left (front) skate were wearing down noticeably faster. I just got new wheels after a year and it was really noticeable. Mostly in the fresh arc, which made pumping much more efficient.

Good point! If swapping between skates, I’d still make a mental note of the direction of the “cone” shape on each wheel, making sure to reverse the direction so it can wear evenly. And yes, fresh wheels are the best feeling ever 😆

@@gabealtier do you put a mark on your skates or something to know which side is consistently toe side? It’s not something I’ve thought to keep track of

@@Notenoughwheels I used to always put the grip tape right side up because I thought it mattered, but I think this causes uneven wear more than anything. I don’t pay attention to it anymore
