Code P0341 Cam Position Sensor | MK6 2014 VW Jetta | Rough Idling Issue

The 2014 VW Jetta recently started idling very bad. RPM does up and down when engine is running on park or while driving around the 30km zone. One time it even stalled while slowing down to a stop light.

Hi, did you ever fix the issue? My 2013 jetta GLI 177k miles, and has p0341 and p0343 codes toggling, I replaced the camshaft position sensor, but still having the codes bouncing from time to time. I wonder if I have to try yo replace the magnet. What happened with your case finally?

In my case and also on the video when I cleaned the magnet and was able to get the pin to freely move again I temporarily installed it to see if the error code disappeared. And it surely did. So I knew that was causing my issue. Fast forward 4 months later I have a video coming up with the final solution replacing the magnet and the valve. Hope to have that out on Thursday
